🌡️🥵☀️ Het is heet, ėcht heet, ook hier in Slowakije.
Maar op onze boerderij merk je daar verrassend weinig van...👇🏻 English below 👇🏻
We liggen in een groene vallei, omringd door bossen. Dat maakt echt verschil: het is hier vaak net wat aangenamer en er waait bijna altijd een zacht, verkoelend briesje. En in tegenstelling tot de plakkerige warmte die je soms in Nederland hebt, voelt het hier meestal droger en veel prettiger aan. ’s Nachts koelt het bovendien altijd heerlijk af.
🏡 Ranná rosa
Onze voormalige koeienstal met originele dikke stenen muren en leem (70 cm). Die houden de hitte vanzelf buiten. Binnen blijft het koel en de tegelvloer voelt heerlijk fris aan.
❄️ Stará láska
Hier zorgt airconditioning voor een fijne, koele plek, ook tijdens de warmste dagen.
⛺ De tent
Overdag leef je vooral buiten in de schaduw, en ’s nachts is het altijd comfortabel koel. Geen plakkerige nachten, maar gewoon echt goed slapen in de natuur.
🌿 En voor de afkoeling…
Je kunt een duik nemen in het biologische buitenzwembad in de buurt, of lekker poedelen in de naastgelegen beek. Gewoon met je voeten in het water, of even helemaal erin. En ja, een dammetje bouwen hoort daar ook gewoon bij.

☀️ It’s hot, really hot, even here in Slovakia.
But at our farm you’ll be surprised how little you actually notice it.
We’re located in a green valley, surrounded by forests. That makes a real difference: it often stays a few degrees cooler and there’s almost always a gentle, refreshing breeze. And unlike the sticky heat you sometimes get in the Netherlands, the air here feels much drier and more comfortable. Nights always cool down nicely too.
🏡 Ranná rosa
Our former cowshed with original thick stone walls and clay (70 cm). They naturally keep the heat out, so inside stays cool and the tiled floor feels wonderfully fresh even on hot days.

Here you can enjoy air conditioning, making it a perfect cool retreat during the hottest days.
⛺ The tent
Life here is mostly outdoors during the day in the shade, and at night it always cools down beautifully. No sticky, uncomfortable nights—just real sleeping-in-nature comfort.
🌿 And for cooling off…
You can take a swim in the nearby biological outdoor pool, or simply wade and play in the stream next to the property. Dip your feet in, cool down completely, or even build a little dam, because that’s just part of the fun here.
