This wonderful hotel has got four pools, one of which is fitted with a swim-up bar. Little ones have their own mini pool to play in, too. A waterpark comes complete with a selection of twisting slides. What’s more, the hotel’s right by the coast, so dipping in the sea is a piece of cake.
The restaurant scene packs in four restaurants – three of which are themed restaurants, which line up international, Asian, Italian and grilled options. Drinks and snacks, meanwhile, are on offer at five bars. A couple are in the main building, while another’s a swim-up option in one of the pools.
The spa’s state of the art, and packs in everything from two relax indoor pools to a beauty salon*. What’s more, you can take your pick from a long list of globe-trotting treatments*. When it comes to workouts, you have free rein of the cardio machines, free weights and strength-training gear at the gym.
The disco’s going is on hand for late-night dance parties. Little ones have a kids’ club to kick back in – it is split in to two age groups.
Pointe Sarene’s one of the freshest faces to join west Africa’s holiday scene, but it’s set to become one of the continent’s next big names. This sleepy fishing village – and its surrounding area – received a 150-million-pound tourism investment in the last decade. This hefty sum’s been spent on adding plenty of five-star beachfront hotels, over 200 luxury villas and a modern commercial centre to Pointe Sarene’s standout shorefront.
