Travel Tip Tuesday ✈️

Have patience.

Not the flashy kind you post about… the quiet, steady kind you actually need when you travel.

Flights get delayed. Bags take their time. Gates change just as you’ve found somewhere to sit. It’s all part of the journey, whether we like it or not.

📌 Build in buffer time where you can
📌 Keep essentials in your hand luggage
📌 And remember… getting stressed won’t make the plane leave any faster

The travellers who enjoy it most aren’t the lucky ones… they’re the ones who expect a few bumps and roll with it anyway.

Weekend Wanderlust ✈️

There’s something about the idea of a city wrapped in nature that just pulls you in… and that’s exactly why the Vancouver has been sitting firmly on my list.

And this time… it’s actually happening. I’m heading there in September 👀

From what I’ve seen (and planned so far), it’s one of those places that gives you the best of both worlds without compromise:

• Coastal city views with mountains as the backdrop
• Easy access to nature, from beaches to forests to hiking trails
• Food scene that’s as diverse as the city itself
• Whale watching and boat trips right on your doorstep
• A laid-back, outdoorsy feel that makes you slow down a bit

It’s the kind of destination where you can spend the morning exploring somewhere like Stanley Park and the afternoon by the water… without ever feeling rushed.

Travel Tip Tuesday ✈️

If you’re flying with British Airways… this is one to know, not just scroll past.

They have what’s often called a 20-minute baggage promise at certain airports.
If your suitcase doesn’t show up on the carousel within around 20 minutes of arrival… you may be able to claim Avios points as compensation.

Yes… actual points for waiting around staring at a conveyor belt that’s doing absolutely nothing.

📌 It’s not automatic. You usually need to submit a claim after your flight
📌 It applies on selected routes and airports (so worth checking before you travel)
📌 Avios = points you can use towards flights, upgrades, hotels and more

It’s one of those “if you know, you know” travel perks.
Standing there waiting anyway… you may as well get something back for it ✈️
