South Sudan has released new visa rules, stipulating that only nationals of Egypt and Tanzania are eligible for visa-free entry.

According to a recent update by the country's Interior Ministry, citizens of virtually all other countries in the world need a visa to enter and must pay a fee of $100 for single entry, $200 for a three-month multiple-entry visa, and $350 for a six-month multiple-entry visa.

However, nationals of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya and Uganda will pay lower fees: $50 for single entry, $125 for a three-month multiple-entry visa, and $250 for a six-month multiple-entry visa.
