Let’s keep it real: God isn’t going to do the work for you. That’s a lie we need to stop believing. Yes, God is on His throne, but He also gave you two hands, two legs, and a brain for a reason so you can take action. Faith isn’t an excuse for laziness. Confusing the two has held us back for far too long, especially in the Black community.
We can’t expect wealth, success, or change to magically appear just because we pray or go to church. True faith requires effort. It’s about rolling up your sleeves and putting in the work. Religion isn’t a business transaction where we worship and expect instant rewards. It’s a service—a call to action, to serve, to build, and to grow.
Stop waiting for miracles to fall from the sky. The miracle is in your ability to create, to work, and to persevere. Let’s stop confusing faith with inaction. It’s time to rise, grind, and claim what’s ours. God gave you the tools. Now it’s your turn to use them.
