II Centroamerica Big Day! Te esperamos!

We had a great birding adventure in El Imposible National Park with Derek and Michelle! Despite having a windy morning by choosing the right route we were able to spot around 40 species!!! The highlights were the Fan-tailed warbler, the Long-tailed Manakin, a male Gartered Trogon (Photos), we heard a Green-Shrike Vireo and have a short glimpse of a Stub-tailed Spadebill both specialties of the park. The surprise came some days later when declared the park one of the 2026 wonders of the world that can be visited!!!

A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure to guide a group from MS Zuiderdam . We had a great birding experience at Barra de Santiago RAMSAR site. Spotting many species of birds and crocs!!! It was a great pleasure!
