Al-Hasaka Governorate (or Al-Jazeera) is a province in the north-east of Syria, centered in Al-Hasakah. Passes through the Khabur River, which comes from the city of Ras al-Ain to the north, descending to the south where it joins with the Euphrates River near the city of Deir al-Zour in the east of Syria. The governorate is divided into four districts and fourteen districts.
محافظة الحسكة أو (الجزيرة السورية) هي محافظة في شمال شرق سوريا مركزها مدينة الحسكة. يمر بها نهر الخابور الذي يأتي من مدينة رأس العين شمالاً ماراً بها هبوطا إلى الجنوب حيث يتحد مع نهر الفرات قرب مدينة دير الزور الواقعة شرق سورية. وتقسم المحافظة إلى أربع مناطق واربع عشرة ناحية.

القنيطرة تقع القنيطرة في وادي عالي في هضبة الجولان على ارتفاع 942 م فوق سطح البحر. تحيط بها بقايا ثورات بركانية قديمة يتخللها عدد من الفوهات البركانية الخامدة التي يصل ارتفاع بعضها إلى 150-200 م فوق المنطقة المحيطة.

درعا إحدى محافظات سوريا وتمتد في المنطقة الجنوبية من سوريا، وهي عبارة عن سهل لذلك تسمى سهل حوران وقد قامت عليه الكثير من الحضارات منذ القدم فقد كانت أرضاً خصبة وكان الرومان يعتمدون على حوران من أجل المحاصيل الزراعية والتي كانت تسمى في زمنهم مملكة إهراء روما وذلك لخصبة أرضها ووفرة محاصيلها الزراعية.

It is a Phoenician historical city that gained its name from the Latin Antrados, which is the center of Tartous province, opposite it Arwad Island, a beautiful Syrian island that was a maritime kingdom that extended its influence over most of the Syrian coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Tartous is located approximately 100 km south of Lattakia, with a major seaport in Syria.
طرطوس مدينة سورية على ساحل البحر المتوسط وهي أهم ميناء في سورية، وهي مدينة تاريخية فينيقية اكتسبت اسمها من اللاتينية «أنترادوس»وهي مركز محافظة طرطوس تقع مقابلها جزيرة أرواد وهي جزيرة سورية جميلة كانت مملكة بحرية بسطت نفوذها على معظم الساحل السوري البحر الأبيض المتوسط. تبعد مدينة طرطوس 100 كم تقريباً جنوبي مدينة اللاذقية، ويقع فيها ميناء بحري رئيسي بسورية.

اللاذقية مدينة سوريّة، تعتبر الخامسة في الجمهورية من حيث عدد السكان، بعد دمشق وحلب وحمص وحماة، تقع على الساحل الشرقي البحر الأبيض المتوسط، ضمن شبه جزيرة بحرية على بعد حوالي 385 كم من الشمال الغربي للعاصمة دمشق وهي المنفذ الأول للبلاد على البحر .

Swaida is one of the Syrian provinces located in the south-east of Damascus and bordered by Damascus province to the north and the province of Daraa from the west and the Syrian desert and Safa from the east and Jordan from the south.
It covers an area of 6550 km2 and extends from north to south / 120 km. Its width ranges from east to west (66 km).
السويداء واحدة من المحافظات السورية تقع في إلجنوب الشرقي من دمشق وتحدها محافظة دمشق من الشمال ومحافظة درعا من الغرب والبادية السورية والصفا من الشرق والأردن من الجنوب.
تبلغ مساحتها /6550/كم² ويمتد طول المحافظة من الشمال إلى الجنوب /120/ كم ويبلغ عرضها من الشرق إلى الغرب /66/كم.
