Wonderful day on the ocean yesterday. Our youngest guest ever, cute little 6 month old Annie from Ottawa. She slept most of trip so missed the whales and dolphins! No fluke shots e enough though there was lots of flipper slapping and fluke slapping. Someone was showing off!

The winter season is upon us! I have heard through the grapevine that there might have been a sighting in Samana Bay, which is south of us. That means they are migrating and some have passed by already.
We are excited to be back for this 2018 season. It will have challenges due to the two hurricanes, Irma and Maria, but we will do our best! The beautiful beaches and amazing people are all waiting for you!
And let us not forget the Donkeys!

The wonderful humpbacks will still be heading to the waters near Salt Cay this winter, whether or not the hurricanes have left anything behind on land.
We wil be there as well. Might have to get a tent, and one for our guests as well!

Although Salt Cay is rich in history, it doesn’t boast the same tourism industry as Provo, or even Grand Turk. But it is well known for one thing in particular: humpback whales.

The amazing humpbacks are magical in their own right. Migaloo takes it to another level altogether!

Australia's most famous whale has put on a show for tourists off the Queensland coast, splashing about as he makes his way back south towards Antarctic waters at the end of the annual migration.

It is the middle of summer here in eastern Canada but winter will be just around the corner! The humpbacks are showing up here to fatten up for their journey south in a few months. We will be looking forward to seeing all the mum's with their calves in the 2017/18 winter season on Salt Cay. T.C.I.

Hearing a whisper that there were whales seen near Salt Cay a few days ago! Late in the season but how awesome!
Time to start organizing for next year! Small island, limited space and time. Plan to come visit us and keep in mind that a week or more is always recommended.
Lots to do on our Island paradise!
