The friendly Grand Turk Parasail excursion crew will meet you just a short walking distance from your cruise ship center. The parasailing boat will be waiting and after checking-in for the excursion, the fun is under way. As the experienced parasailing captain takes the boat out, the shore excursion crew will explain to you how everything and what to expect. The crew, captain, and parasailing boat will do everything for you. The Parasailing boat holds up to 10 passengers and each flight is around 8 to 10 minutes. When it is your turn, the crew will secure you in the parasail harness and help you to get in launching position on the special platform at the back of the boat. You will get clipped into the chute which is attached to the parasailing excursion boat winch via a double braided 7/16-inch rope, the best quality equipment available for this water and beach sport. Then you will gently float off the back of the boat and slowly upwards ... just like a bird. Grand Turk is a very colorful and tiny Caribbean island.
