Praying for our friends on Salt Cay, Grand Turk, North Caicos, Middle Caicos and Provo. The eye wall passed right over Grand Turk last night and now appears to be right over Middle and North Caicos. Provo is further to the west, but most highly populated. The far east shore of Provo is currently experiencing "negative storm surge" where it appears the ocean has disappeared! It's been sucked into the storm and will rush back suddenly - very dangerous. Hopefully the storm takes the forecasted north turn very soon!

Well, all of our purchases are on the way from Florida to Turks and Caicos. I hope the shipments aren't interrupted by tropical storm Fiona. Looks like a 50-50 chance she will turn into hurricane force winds in TCI. Our property manager is battening down the hatches, just in case. Our first experience of home ownership during a hurricane!
