FROM WASHINGTON TO PROVIDENCIALES
Passengers departing from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) will soon be adding a new direct flight to their list of tropical destinations. United Airlines will be operating a direct flight from Washington to Providenciales starting December 17th, 2016.
The Washington (IAD) to Providenciales (PLS) flight will be arriving in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands at approximately 12:30pm and will be departing at 5:40pm. This flight will operate on a weekly basis every Saturday until April 29th, 2017.

LOBSTER SEASON CONTINUES FOR TWO MORE WEEKS

Cabinet in a extraordinary (out of regular bi-weekly schedule) meet on Thursday March 12, 2015 agreed to the extension of the Lobster Season to March 31, 2015.

The season, which would have closed on Sunday March 15th, was impacted during the last few weeks due to unfavourable weather conditions and the extension was granted to give fishermen the opportunity to get a few last good yields in before the close, which lasts up to six months.

The extension is in the process of being Gazatted for official notification of Cabinet's decision.
