See the beauty on Iskander Lake—named after Alexander the Great. The drive from Dushanbe to the lake was long. It ended with 45 minutes on an unpaved road. In the middle were many tunnels, including one that was 5K long. It was worth the effort.

Spent the day at Shymbulak Mountains. Took the cable cars up and enjoyed the views.
