𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿?

We were honored to receive Tourism Standards recognition for both of our companies, Ayutthaya Boat and Travel and Nutty's Adventures, through the Tourism Standards Program organized by the กรมการท่องเที่ยว Department of Tourism (DOT), 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀.

For some people, a tourism standard may look like just another certificate on the wall. But for us, it means much more.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁.

They provide confidence to travelers, business partners, and the tourism industry that a company is committed to quality, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

In tourism, visitors purchase experiences they cannot fully see or touch before they arrive. Trust is therefore one of the most valuable products we can offer.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the for continuously promoting and strengthening tourism standards across Thailand. These efforts help elevate the competitiveness of Thai tourism while building confidence among both domestic and international travelers.

Thank you to our teams, partners, communities, and travelers who have been part of this journey.

Together, we continue building a stronger, more responsible, and more sustainable tourism industry for Thailand. 🇹🇭

𝙄𝒏 𝒕𝙝𝒆 𝑴𝙤𝒐𝙙… 🎶🚴‍♀️💚

One little bite before the cycling adventure begins 😎🍞

Sometimes sustainable tourism is not only about ancient temples, local communities, or eco-friendly travel. It is also about these tiny beautiful moments, laughter, curiosity, family time, and the simple joy of discovering a place together.

That’s why we love cycling tours.

Less noise. Less pollution. More connection.
To people, to heritage, to communities… and to the experience itself ✨

“𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗺”

Feeling truly grateful to see key tourism leaders from across Thailand come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of Ayutthaya as a model destination in many dimensions, from river tourism and community-based tourism to inclusive tourism for all.

Following a productive meeting with representatives from every sector, led by the Minister of Tourism and Sports as the driving force behind this initiative, we had the opportunity to welcome two distinguished delegations, DASTA Thailand and TAT, who recognize the importance of inclusive tourism. Together, we visited a riverside restaurant along the Pa Sak River that serves as a strong example of accessibility and Universal Design in practice.

One of the research-driven initiatives we will continue this year focuses on “Inclusive Water Tourism.” The main objective is to develop high-value river tourism experiences that meet the growing demand of premium-quality travelers. We also had the honor of welcoming the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aboard to exchange ideas, share perspectives, and receive policy direction while cruising along the Pa Sak and Lopburi Rivers.

Ayutthaya has so much more to offer beyond the familiar image of “temples, noodles, and giant river prawns.” Sometimes, all it takes is a new way of thinking to discover new tourism products and opportunities waiting to be shared with the world.

𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘆𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮

Every ripple of the Chao Phraya River carries the stories of Ayutthaya. A World Heritage city that lives not only in history books but in the rhythm of riverside life, the sound of paddles touching water, and the smiles of locals welcoming travelers with warmth.

Water tourism in Ayutthaya is more than a scenic boat ride. It’s a journey that bridges past and present, tracing ancient trade routes that once shaped the city’s cultural and spiritual diversity.

The krachaeng boat gliding along the river is more than a vessel, it’s a symbol of simplicity, grace, and Thai wisdom. Today’s voyage is not just sightseeing; it’s an immersion into the living soul of the old capital, still pulsing beneath the waves.

Most importantly, designing river routes that are accessible to everyone, regardless of physical condition, reflects the true spirit of inclusive and sustainable travel.

Ayutthaya belongs not to a few, but to all who seek to connect with its timeless beauty.

🎊 On 24 March 2004, Ayutthaya Boat and Travel appeared as our passionate beginning, our team’s first baby steps into Responsible Tourism. What started as a spark has grown into a movement, carried by empathy, resilience, and joy.

🚤 2008 – Nattawarin - Ayutthaya Cruise, our gorgeous teakwood rice barge, began cruising the Chao Phraya. That same year, we held our first Gold Award from TAT—proof that passion could shine.

🌱 2014 – We expanded with Nutty's Adventures, not just another company but a clearer, stronger commitment to Sustainable Tourism.

📚 2015–2016 – Research became our compass. With TRF (now สกสว. : TSRI), we began meaningful projects. Accessible Tourism was no longer a dream—it started with learning how to serve blind travellers, step by step, with UK partners.

👩‍🦯 2018 – Eleven blind travellers from the UK joined us for 11 days. Their laughter and courage became our inspiration. That same year, we earned Travelife Certified Excellence—a recognition we continue to uphold.

♿ 2020–2022 – We faced new challenges: wheelchair accessibility. With The Redemptoris Foundation forPWDs, we researched, adapted, and welcomed our first overseas wheelchair travellers from the Netherlands. Ten days together proved that inclusion is not theory, but it is lived experience.

🌊 Through floods, financial storms, and the weight of responsibility, we sometimes stumbled. But every challenge became a bridge. Every setback became a lesson. And every smile from our guests reminded us why we began.

💛 22 years later, we are more than a team. We are a family, a movement, and living proof that Responsible Tourism can grow into Inclusive Tourism, anchored in empathy, powered by resilience, and celebrated with joy.

To our partners, friends, and travellers: thank you for walking, cruising, and rolling with us. The journey continues, and together, we will keep turning challenges into waves of change.

🕯🕯 22 candles lit, guiding us toward 22 more waves of joy… 🕯🕯
