Accessible Thailand Tours has been established to help make Thailand an exciting holiday destination that is accessible to all travellers: whether with major disabilities or just in need of that extra little bit of help to get around.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙, 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨?

Because we want to make sure that everyone can truly travel and enjoy a meaningful experience in Thailand.

Our team, at Nutty's Adventures, together with สถาบันอาศรมศิลป์ - Arsom Silp Institute of the Arts conducted another field survey in Ayutthaya. Even though we have already been pushing this city as a model destination for inclusive tourism, we still believe that real understanding comes from being on-site, seeing the reality, and continuously improving the experience.

We want everyone joining our workshops and training programs to receive information that is accurate, practical, and usable in real situations.

For us, organizing workshops is not just about completing an event.

It is about creating knowledge and solutions that can genuinely be used to help others.

Because at the end of the day, we believe Ayutthaya should be a destination where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their physical ability.

This week, Accessible Thailand - Tourism For All will showcase Thailand’s inclusive tourism products and marketing strategies to the Accessible Tourism Network in Latin America.

What began as a shared vision is now growing into an international collaboration, connecting people, communities, and tourism professionals who believe travel should be accessible for everyone, regardless of physical ability.

Special thanks to our partner, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 🇵🇦, for your strong passion and commitment to creating opportunities for all travellers. Your leadership is helping open new doors for inclusive tourism in the Latin American market.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹” 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺

Because we believe that accessible and inclusive tourism is not only about taking people to travel, it is also about ensuring that the people who guide, serve, and design those experiences truly understand inclusion.

Led by 𝗦𝗥𝗜 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 under Thailand Science Research and Innovation (สกสว. : TSRI), together with a multidisciplinary team of academics and industry pioneers from Bangkok University International School of Tourism and Hospitality, Thammasat University Design Center (UDC), สถาบันอาศรมศิลป์ - Arsom Silp Institute of the Arts, and pioneering tour operator Nutty's Adventures, the working group gathered once again for an intensive discussion session, now reaching its 7th meeting, hosted at Bangkok University.

This “Tourism for All” curriculum development project has already demonstrated meaningful outcomes through training programs, workshops, and practical implementation, bridging both academic knowledge and real-world operations in accessible tourism.

Together, we continue building a Thailand that is truly “𝘼 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚.”

🧑‍🦯 ท่องเที่ยว 🌏 ทั่วถึง 👣 เท่าเทียม🧑‍🦽

เคยสังเกตไหมครับว่า…
เวลาชีวิตเหนื่อยๆ หลายคนมักเลือก “ออกเดินทาง” 😊

🏖 บางคนแค่ได้มองทะเล
🍜 บางคนแค่ได้กินร้านโปรด
🌿 บางคนแค่ได้เปลี่ยนบรรยากาศ

หัวใจก็กลับมาพองโตอีกครั้ง

เลยเริ่มรู้สึกว่า . . . “การท่องเที่ยว” ไม่ใช่ความฟุ่มเฟือยอีกต่อไปแต่เป็น “ปัจจัยที่ 5” ของมนุษย์ เพราะการเดินทางที่ดีไม่เพียงช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต

แต่ในหลายกรณียังช่วยฟื้นฟูทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจของผู้สูงอายุ ผู้ป่วย หรือผู้ที่เคยติดอยู่กับบ้าน ให้กลับมามีรอยยิ้ม มีแรงบันดาลใจ และอยากใช้ชีวิตอีกครั้ง ❤️

แต่ในวันที่หลายคนเดินทางได้อย่างอิสระ ก็ยังมีคนอีกจำนวนมาก ที่ “อยากเที่ยว” เหมือนกัน
เพียงแต่ . . .

📶 บางคนติดขั้นบันได
🚾 บางคนไม่มีห้องน้ำที่เข้าถึงได้
👩‍❤️‍👨 บางคนไม่มั่นใจว่าจะมีใครเข้าใจเขาระหว่างการเดินทาง
🗣 บางคนแค่อยากมีคนพูดกับเขาด้วยความเข้าใจและเท่าเทียม

และนี่จึงเป็นเหตุผลว่าทำไม “𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹” ถึงสำคัญมากขึ้นทุกวัน “การท่องเที่ยวเพื่อคนทั้งมวล”
ไม่ใช่เรื่องของคนกลุ่มเล็ก แต่มันคืออนาคตของอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวทั้งระบบ

เพราะสุดท้ายแล้ว . . . “ความรู้สึกว่าเราได้รับการต้อนรับ” คือหัวใจของการท่องเที่ยวที่แท้จริง ❤️

What made this session so meaningful was seeing how different perspectives, hotels, ecotourism, community development, and inclusive tourism, can all connect toward the same goal:

Creating a tourism industry that is more sustainable, more inclusive, and creates real benefits for people and communities.

For us at Nutty's Adventures, sustainability is not only about the environment. It is also about people, participation, and opportunity for everyone.

For a long time, we have been asking ourselves: 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 (𝑷𝑾𝑫𝒔)?

At Nutty's Adventures, we believe that with the right attitude, opportunity, and mindset, people with disabilities can achieve and contribute just like everyone else.

Over the past few years, we have been working together with Ayutthaya Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities on developing and improving “Accessible Thailand - Tourism For All” services in Thailand.

The association also operates a maintenance and repair center for assistive devices for persons with disabilities.

One day, we discussed a simple but meaningful idea, “If they can repair mobility equipment, could they also help maintain bicycles?”

Since our company uses many bicycles for our tours, we decided to give it a try.

This week, for the very first time, a team of three technicians, all persons with physical disabilities, came to inspect and repair our bicycles. They also helped repair wheelchairs that we use to support travelers who may need mobility assistance during their journeys.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁?
A+ service. Skilled workmanship, great attention to detail, professional attitude, and very reasonable pricing.

Experiences like this remind us that

Another meaningful and inspiring time at the Ph.D. class of The Faculty of Business Administration for Society, Srinakharinwirot University (SWU).

Grateful for the opportunity to share Accessible Thailand - Tourism For All experiences, from inclusive tourism and community empowerment to responsible tourism practices that create opportunities for everyone.

What I truly enjoy every time I walk into this class is that it is never only about giving knowledge. It is also about learning. Different professional backgrounds, different perspectives, and so many thoughtful discussions made these three hours incredibly dynamic and energizing.

“การอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างเท่าเทียม ไม่ใช่เรื่องของความสงสาร . . . แต่คือการเปิดโอกาส การให้เกียรติ และการเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน”

• ตลอดหลายปีที่ผ่านมา Nutty's Adventures มักตั้งคำถามกับตัวเองอยู่เสมอว่า “เราจะช่วยสร้างโอกาสให้ผู้พิการมีพื้นที่ในสังคมมากขึ้นได้อย่างไร” เพราะเราเชื่อว่า… หากสังคมมีทัศนคติที่ดีและเปิดใจมากพอ ผู้พิการก็สามารถทำงาน ใช้ชีวิต และสร้างคุณค่าได้ไม่ต่างจากคนทั่วไป

• ที่ผ่านมาเราได้มีโอกาสทำงานร่วมกับ "สมาคมคนพิการทางการเคลื่อนไหวพระนครศรีอยุธยา" ในเรื่องของการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเพื่อคนทั้งมวล ( Accessible Thailand - Tourism For All )

• ทางสมาคมมี "ศูนย์บริการซ่อมบำรุงกายอุปกรณ์สำหรับผู้พิการและผู้สูงอายุ จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา" อยู่แล้วจนวันหนึ่งพวกเราลองคุยกันเล่นๆ ว่า “ถ้าซ่อมอุปกรณ์ช่วยเหลือคนพิการได้ แล้วจะซ่อมจักรยานได้ไหม?”

• เพราะบริษัทเรามีจักรยานจำนวนมากที่ใช้สำหรับทำทัวร์และกิจกรรมต่างๆ และในสัปดาห์นี้เอง "พี่สกล" ได้นำทีมช่างรวม 3 คน ซึ่งทั้งหมดเป็นผู้พิการทางการเคลื่อนไหวได้เดินทางมาช่วยตรวจเช็ค ซ่อมบำรุง และดูแลจักรยานให้กับเราเป็นครั้งแรก รวมถึงช่วยซ่อมวีลแชร์ที่เราเตรียมไว้สำหรับบริการนักท่องเที่ยวที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลืออีกด้วย

• ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้ต้องบอกตรงๆ ว่าเกินความคาดหวังมาก ทั้งความละเอียด ความใส่ใจ คุณภาพงาน และความเป็นมืออาชีพ ทำออกมาได้ดีมากจริงๆ จนพวกเราพูดเล่นกันว่า “ให้คะแนน A+ ไปเลย”

• แต่สิ่งที่มีค่ามากกว่างานซ่อมในวันนั้นคือความรู้สึกบางอย่างที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างการทำงานร่วมกัน
- เราได้เห็นรอยยิ้ม
- เห็นความภูมิใจในตัวเอง
- และเห็นคุณค่าของ “โอกาส” ที่บางครั้งสังคมอาจหลงลืมไป

“𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗺”

Feeling truly grateful to see key tourism leaders from across Thailand come together to exchange ideas and shape the future of Ayutthaya as a model destination in many dimensions, from river tourism and community-based tourism to inclusive tourism for all.

Following a productive meeting with representatives from every sector, led by the Minister of Tourism and Sports as the driving force behind this initiative, we had the opportunity to welcome two distinguished delegations, DASTA Thailand and TAT, who recognize the importance of inclusive tourism. Together, we visited a riverside restaurant along the Pa Sak River that serves as a strong example of accessibility and Universal Design in practice.

One of the research-driven initiatives we will continue this year focuses on “Inclusive Water Tourism.” The main objective is to develop high-value river tourism experiences that meet the growing demand of premium-quality travelers. We also had the honor of welcoming the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aboard to exchange ideas, share perspectives, and receive policy direction while cruising along the Pa Sak and Lopburi Rivers.

Ayutthaya has so much more to offer beyond the familiar image of “temples, noodles, and giant river prawns.” Sometimes, all it takes is a new way of thinking to discover new tourism products and opportunities waiting to be shared with the world.
