Over 230 plants, flowers and shrubs have been planted, attracting spectacular butterflies and clever hummingbirds to enjoy the warmth of the sun in the pool area.

On a rare rainy day, or if you just want to relax at home, the world's plushest sofa and 85-inch smart TV await you. A Soundbar designed for the space ensures a great movie night.
KITCHEN
Although Khao Lak's restaurant selection offers a new, good restaurant for every lunch and dinner of your holiday and the local delicacies are mouth-watering, Villa Lapponia also offers the possibility of conjuring up meals in its own modern and well-equipped kitchen. There is space not only to cook but also to eat at a table for six.
Of course, dinner - or a breakfast covered with delicacies from the local market - is also wonderful to enjoy in the pavilion on the patio!
POOL PATIO
Although the nearby beaches are only a few kilometers away, Villa Lapponia's magnificent pool patio invites you to spend idle days at home.
Lovely soft sunbeds with shades, a refreshing dip in your own pool and the possibility of an exotic outdoor shower - what more could you want from a perfect holiday? Oh yes, of course a shady pergola with tables, chairs and fans - a place made for enjoying a refreshing drink.
LAUNDRY
If you don't feel like spinning your holiday laundry in the house machine yourself, there is a laundry almost around the corner. And you can pick up your clean laundry the same day! Of course, even laundry spun in the machine at home in the morning will be dry when you return from the beach.
NUTRITION FOR BODY AND SOUL
The sunrise behind the mountains is a wonderful experience, especially from the upstairs balcony, a stunningly beautiful symphony of light, jungle and dozens of different birds.
This is also the best time to go for a run on the fitness track next door, which circles the pond. Of course, there is also a gym just a few hundred meters away if you prefer to lift weights.
If you want to relax and stop for a moment, you can also try the nearby Buddhist temple area; everyone is welcome there! Just remember to respect a few basic rules: no sleeveless shirts or tops, no touching. A smile is all you need here, as everywhere in Thailand.
For active holidaymakers, there are many tailor-made tour packages for scuba diving, snorkeling, nature parks, waterfalls, temple tours - or even a visit to an elephant care home.
If you are feeling the urge to shop, a trip to Phuket island, for example, to the Central Phuket shopping mall, with its luxury brands, will satisfy even the most demanding shopper's desires.
BEACHES
The area called Khao Lak consists of several small villages that have sprung up along the main road and by the rich sea.
When you arrive in Khao Lak from the south of Phuket Airport, you will find the jungle on the right side of the road - which is partly older than the Amazon jungle - and the Andaman Sea, or Indian Ocean, on the left.
The magnificent beaches thus extend for tens of kilometers.
The favorite beaches of vacationers are Sun set beach, Nang thong beach, Bang Niang beach, Khuk khak beach, Pakarang beach, Coconut beach, Pakweep beach and Bansak beach. You can get everywhere cheaply by taxi.
VILLAGE VIVIDNESS
The main villages of Khao Lak are the so-called Khao Lak center, Biang Niang and Khuk Khak villages. In addition to restaurants, cafes, nightlife and shops, you can easily find banks and money exchange offices here.
A large market is held on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Bang Niang. Almost everything is available: clothes, shoes, sunglasses, electronics, souvenirs - and of course food! Thais love to eat!
The fresh market located right next to Villa Lapponia is definitely a must-do on the list, where crabbers, fishermen, meat, vegetable and fruit sellers bring their products for sale early in the morning. In addition to browsing the offerings, following the local way of life is also delightful and worth experiencing.
LOCATION
Villa Lapponia is located on the border of Bang Niang and Khuk Khak villages in a quiet residential area. From here, it is still only a few minutes by taxi or moped to the central villages.
Here you can hear the sounds of the jungle come to life in an exotic evening - - but you can also be a psrt of local life.
All services are of course also within walking distance.
