Head Rock Climbing Instructor

The Head Climbing instructor works as part of the adventures team providing high quality courses and trips on Koh Tao. The climbing instructor is the primary climbing team person who is responsible for the following:
• Teaching Top Rope, Sport, Trad, multi-pitch & rescue courses
• Guide existing climbers
• Take new climbers on introductions
• Run larger groups on abseiling and basic climbing trips
• Be a mentor to climbing guides and rock masters
• Coordinate and conduct route development and crag maintenance
• Maintain all climbing equipment
• Conduct other adventures trips if required or qualified

We are looking for a person who has:
- A strong climbing focus and is happy to be out on the rocks most days of the week.
- Motivated to maintain a high standard of safety & instruction staying abreast with all modern techniques and procedures.
- Friendly & approachable, happy to work as part of a close team
- Previous outdoor instructor experience
- Relevant qualifications from their home country

The position is available from March onwards and is open ended. Pay and conditions are competitive with opportunities for career development and cross sport development (we are also a Scuba Diving center!)

Both of these dives offer truly unique experiences. Green Rock to Red Rock will take you along a route that is remarkably lush with corals and reef fish as it doesn’t see many divers. Like most dives around Koh Nang Yuan, boulders are a notable feature - a great landscape for grazing turtles. The northeast coast to Lighthouse Bay promises a journey rarely taken by divers around Koh Tao. What will you see here? Well, we don’t know, and that’s why it’s an 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
