🌊 สรุปความสำเร็จโครงการ MA-RE-DESIGN: ก้าวสำคัญสู่เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน เมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2569 ที่ผ่านมา
ความร่วมมือครั้งใหญ่ระหว่างพื้นที่นำร่อง "เกาะเต่า-นครตรัง", WWF ประเทศไทย, GIZ, UNEP COBSEA และได้รับการสนับสนุนจากรัฐบาลเยอรมนี ในการขับเคลื่อนการจัดการขยะอย่างเป็นระบบตามแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) เพื่อปกป้องและฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศทางทะเลอย่างยั่งยืน 💙
🏝️ เกาะเต่า: โมเดลต้นแบบ "เกาะแห่งนวัตกรรมหมุนเวียน" (Island Innovation)
เกาะเต่าได้ก้าวข้ามข้อจำกัดทางภูมิศาสตร์และต้นทุนการขนส่งที่สูง โดยร่วมมือกับทุกภาคส่วน ทั้งเทศบาล ธุรกิจท่องเที่ยว ชุมชน และนักดำน้ำ ภายใต้แนวคิด “Advancing Circularity for Island Systems” ผ่าน 5 กลไกสำคัญ:
🔹 PSC Action Plan: วางระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานร่วมกันระหว่างรัฐ ชุมชน และเอกชน เพื่อเตรียมรับแนวคิดความรับผิดชอบของผู้ผลิต (EPR)
🔹 Tourism Business Engagement: สร้างข้อตกลงร่วม (Business Commitment) ในกลุ่มโรงแรม ร้านอาหาร และธุรกิจดำน้ำ เพื่อลดพลาสติกแบบใช้ครั้งเดียวทิ้ง
🔹 Deposit Return System: ทดลองระบบมัดจำคืนเงินสำหรับภาชนะใส่อาหารและเครื่องดื่มในงานอีเวนต์
🔹 Trash Treasure Tao: ตั้งธนาคารขยะชุมชน เพื่อคัดแยกและส่งต่อวัสดุรีไซเคิลเข้าสู่ห่วงโซ่อย่างถูกต้อง
🔹 Value Chain of Low-Value Recyclables: สร้างเส้นทางขนส่ง "วัสดุมูลค่าต่ำแต่ค่าขนส่งสูง" (เช่น แก้ว โฟม ถุงพลาสติก) ออกจากเกาะกลับสู่โรงงานรีไซเคิลบนฝั่งได้สำเร็จ
📊 สถิติความสำเร็จจากงาน World Oceans Day 2026 (เกาะเต่า)
จากพลังอาสาสมัครกว่า 500 คน สามารถลดปริมาณขยะลงจากปี 2025 ได้ถึง 27.1% (ลดลง 495.27 กก. จากเดิม 1,829.17 กก.) โดยมีรายละเอียดการจัดเก็บขยะรวม 1,333.90 กิโลกรัม ดังนี้:
🌊 ขยะในทะเล (Marine Waste): 673.8 กก. (50.5%)
🏖️ ขยะจากชายหาด (Beach Waste): 660.1 กก. (49.5%)
🚨 Top 5 ประเภทขยะตามน้ำหนักสูงสุด:
1️⃣ ขยะจากการดำน้ำแบบคละ/ไม่ได้คัดแยก (19.6% / 261.7 กก.)
2️⃣ ขวดแก้ว (12.0% / 159.7 กก.)
3️⃣ ขวดพลาสติกใส (8.8% / 117.0 กก.)
4️⃣ อวนและเชือกประมง (8.2% / 109.4 กก.)
5️⃣ พลาสติกสี / พลาสติกชนิด HDPE (5.5% / 73.2 กก.)
🏙️ นครตรัง: การขับเคลื่อนระดับเมืองและพลังเยาวชน
เทศบาลนครตรังตั้งเป้าหมายสูงสุดคือ "ไม่มีพลาสติกหลุดรอดสู่ธรรมชาติภายในปี พ.ศ. 2570" ผ่านแผนปฏิบัติการเมือง (City Action Plan on Plastic) โดยเน้นกลไกการสร้างความตระหนักรู้ผ่านกลุ่มเยาวชน:
🌱 เปลี่ยนเยาวชนเป็น "กลไกเชิงรุก": สนับสนุนตัวแทนนักเรียนจาก 8 โรงเรียนในสังกัดเทศบาล และภาคีเครือข่ายธนาคารขยะชุมชน 6 พื้นที่
🏫 จัดตั้งธนาคารขยะในโรงเรียน: สนับสนุนสื่อการเรียนรู้และอุปกรณ์ พร้อมเสริมทักษะการสื่อสารเพื่อขยายผลสู่ครอบครัวและชุมชน ป้องกันพลาสติกรั่วไหลและปกป้องระบบนิเวศพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำระดับประเทศ

โครงการ MA-RE-DESIGN พิสูจน์ให้เห็นว่าเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนเกิดขึ้นได้จริงเมื่อทุกภาคส่วนร่วมออกแบบระบบด้วยกัน ทั้ง "โมเดลจัดการขยะหมุนเวียนเกาะเต่า" และ "เครือข่ายธนาคารขยะโรงเรียนนครตรัง" พร้อมที่จะเป็นต้นแบบ (Scalable Model) เพื่อขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นเมืองเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม และสร้างการท่องเที่ยวที่รับผิดชอบต่อโลกอย่างแท้จริง 🌍✨

🌊 MA-RE-DESIGN Project Success: A Major Step Towards a Circular Economy was on 8th June, 2026.
A massive collaboration between the pilot areas "Koh Tao - Nakhon Trang", WWF Thailand, GIZ, UNEP COBSEA, supported by the German Government, to drive systematic waste management based on the Circular Economy concept, aiming to sustainably protect and restore marine ecosystems. 💙
🏝️ Koh Tao: "Island Innovation" Model for Circularity
Koh Tao has overcome geographical limitations and high transportation costs by collaborating with all sectors—municipality, tourism businesses, the community, and divers. Under the concept "Advancing Circularity for Island Systems," 5 key mechanisms were successfully implemented:
🔹 PSC Action Plan: Establishing shared infrastructure between the government, community, and private sector to prepare for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
🔹 Tourism Business Engagement: Creating Business Commitments among hotels, restaurants, and diving businesses to reduce single-use plastics.
🔹 Deposit Return System: Piloting a deposit refund system for food and beverage containers at events.
🔹 Trash Treasure Tao: Setting up a community waste bank to properly sort and forward recyclable materials into the supply chain.
🔹 Value Chain of Low-Value Recyclables: Successfully creating a transport route for "low-value, high-transport-cost materials" (like glass, foam, and plastic bags) from the island back to recycling plants on the mainland.
📊 Success Statistics from World Oceans Day 2026 (Koh Tao)
Thanks to the dedication of over 500 volunteers, waste volume dropped by 27.1% compared to 2025 (a decrease of 495.27 kg from 1,829.17 kg). A total of 1,333.90 kg of waste was collected, detailed as follows:

🏙️ Nakhon Trang: City-Level Drive & Youth Empowerment
Nakhon Trang Municipality has set an ultimate goal: "Zero plastic leakage into nature by 2027" via the City Action Plan on Plastic, focusing on raising awareness through the power of youth:
🌱 Transforming Youth into "Active Mechanisms": Supporting student representatives from 8 municipal schools and 6 community waste bank networks.
🏫 Establishing School Waste Banks: Providing learning materials and equipment, while enhancing communication skills to expand the impact to families and communities, preventing plastic leakage, and protecting national-level wetland ecosystems.
💡 Vision Conclusion:
The MA-RE-DESIGN project proves that a circular economy is truly possible when all sectors co-design the system. Both the "Koh Tao Circular Waste Management Model" and the "Nakhon Trang School Waste Bank Network" are ready to serve as Scalable Models to drive Thailand toward becoming an eco-friendly country and creating truly responsible tourism for the world. 🌍✨
