🍜 Looking for the BEST local Thai food in Bangkok on the weekend? This hidden gem is a foodie dream come true.

🌿 Welcome to Klong Ladmayom Food Market - One of Bangkok’s best kept weekend secrets.

📍Open every Saturday & Sunday from morning until late afternoon, this charming market is located along a peaceful canal on the western side of Bangkok.

🥘 Picture local Thai foods market: grilled fish, chicken skewer, tropical fruits, and handmade Thai desserts etc. It’s like stepping into a slower, more delicious world.

🍲 Locals LOVE this market — it’s where we go to eat, shop, and relax with family. You’ll find everything from crispy pork belly, spicy som tam (papaya salad), mango sticky rice, grilled river prawns, and coconut ice cream in bamboo cups.

🚕 It’s less touristy, more authentic — and a perfect way to experience real Thai life and food culture in one place.

💡 Tip: Come hungry and wear comfy shoes. It’s great for all ages and a fun weekend plan, especially if you love street food.

✨ And yes — we can take you there.

📌 Pro Tip of Shopping at famous Bangkok Weekend Market Chatuchak 9am - 6pm - Only Sat-Sun

✨ A Must Visit for Tourists (Especially for Souvenirs)

Dress Comfy 👟: You’ll be doing a lot of walking, so throw on light, breathable clothes and your most comfortable shoes. A hat and some sunscreen are also smart ideas.

Bring Cash 💵: Most vendors prefer cash, so make sure you have plenty of Thai Baht. Smaller bills and coins are super helpful for quick transactions.

If You Love It, Buy It! 🤩: Trust me on this one. With thousands of stalls, it’s incredibly easy to get wonderfully lost. If you see something you absolutely love, grab it then and there, because finding that exact stall again can be like looking for a needle in a haystack!

📌 10 Awesome Souvenirs to Grab at Chatuchak

🔸 Thai Silk Products: Scarves, pillowcases, bags, you name it
🔸 Handicrafts: Think beautifully carved wooden elephants, unique ceramic bowls, and intricate woven baskets.
🔸 Local Artwork: Discover cool paintings, prints, and unique sculptures.
🔸 Spa Products: Treat yourself to aromatic soaps, essential oils, and traditional balms.
🔸 Elephant Pants: These comfy, iconic Thai travel pants are a must-have!
🔸 Thai Snacks/Spices: Stock up on dried fruits, authentic curry pastes, and local candies.
🔸 Coconut Shell Items: Eco-friendly and cool – think bowls, spoons, and decorative pieces.
🔸 Souvenir T-shirts: Grab some fun designs to remember your trip by.

🧘‍♂️ Why do Thai people sit quietly for one hour every evening at the temple?

🥰 The answers on tour might surprise you — and they just might touch your heart.

✨ Thank you very much to the lovely Llewellyn family 🇬🇧 for joining our temple tour with Guide Emma! We are so grateful to share this beautiful part of Thai culture with your family.

💛 Welcome to The Ordination Hall at Wat Pho — a sacred space where monks gather every evening at 5 PM for one full hour of chanting and meditation.

⭐️It’s peaceful. It’s moving. And yes — everyone is welcome.

🧘‍♀️ For Thai people, this evening service is not just a ritual — it’s a moment of connection. Some come every day, others once a week or even just once a year. There’s no pressure. It’s about coming when your heart tells you it’s time.

🙏 During our private tour, we take a moment to explain why Thais choose to spend one quiet hour like this. You’ll hear a short, meaningful story about Buddhism — just 5 to 10 minutes — told in an easy-to-understand way that will help you truly understand Thai people and the peaceful heart of our Buddhist culture.

✨ And yes — even if you’re not Buddhist, you’re warmly invited to join. Whether you stay for five minutes or the full hour, it’s completely up to you. It’s a peaceful experience you’ll never forget.

👗 Just one gentle reminder: please wear temple-appropriate clothing (shoulders and knees covered) when entering — it’s a simple way to show respect.

📌 Did you know? Every real temple in Thailand must have an ordination hall. No ordination hall, no temple — that’s how important this sacred space is.

💛 We believe these quiet, heartfelt experiences are the ones that stay with you long after your trip ends.

📍 The Ordination Hall – Wat Pho Temple, Bangkok
🕗 Open daily from 8 AM – 6 PM
