Koh Libong, one of Thailand’s best-kept secrets

Have you ever heard of Koh Libong? Probably not, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. This hidden gem in Trang Province, in Thailand’s untouched south, is rarely visited by foreign tourists. No crowds, no parties, just peace, nature, and local charm.

Koh Libong is the largest island in Trang, yet still feels wonderfully quiet and authentic. Expect sandy beaches lined with casuarina trees, fishing villages where time seems to stand still, and a coastline where dugongs (sea cows!) still swim freely. One of the last places in Thailand where you can spot these gentle creatures in the wild.

The island is perfect for travelers looking to escape the beaten track and experience real island life: slow sunsets, warm-hearted locals, and nature all around you.

Want to go there? Just contact WanderSiam! We’ll help you experience Koh Libong before the rest of the world discovers it.

This year, WanderSiam escaped the city buzz and ventured into the serene beauty of Khao Yai for our 2025 company outing.
Surrounded by lush forests, cool mountain air, and breathtaking landscapes, our team came together for three unforgettable days of bonding, adventure, and relaxation.

Refreshed, recharged, and inspired, we return not just as colleagues, but as a stronger team ready to take on new journey together.

Last Saturday, we woke up in the middle of the night, overwhelmed by the heat during the hottest month of the year. The air conditioning had stopped working, and the lights wouldn’t turn on. There was a power outage due to an accident and it was expected to last all day. With a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old, we decided the best option was to book a hotel. So we made the decision to spend two nights at the Recall Isan-Isaan Concept Resort, located near the entrance of Khao Yai National Park.

The Recall Isaan-Isaan Concept Resort offers a unique blend of northeastern Thai culture and nature's tranquility. This boutique resort immerses guests in the rich traditions of the Isaan region, with design elements like bamboo accents, traditional textiles, and vibrant local art adorning every corner.

Each room is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibar, and private balcony offering serene garden views. The interiors blend natural materials with Isaan-inspired decor, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere.

The resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a children's pool, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Guests can also enjoy an open-air cinema that screens films in the evenings. For those seeking relaxation, the resort offers massage and treatment rooms to rejuvenate the body and mind.

Dining at the Isaan Isaan Restaurant is a culinary journey through northeastern Thailand. The restaurant serves a variety of traditional dishes, including spicy salads, grilled meats, and sticky rice, all prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Guests can choose to dine indoors or in the outdoor seating area, where they can enjoy meals while watching a movie under the stars.

The resort’s proximity to Khao Yai National Park makes it an ideal base for exploring the region's natural beauty.
We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to experience the authentic charm of Isaan in the heart of Khao Yai!

สวัสดีปีใหม่ไทย เริ่มต้นปีใหม่อีกปี ขอให้มีแต่สิ่งดีๆ เข้ามา สิ่งร้ายๆ ก็ขอให้ผ่านไป

Happy Thai New Year! Let’s start another year! Let the good things come in, and let the bad things pass away.

Celebrated from April 13 to 15, the vibrant Songkran festival marks the Thai New Year and features lively water festivities where people splash water on each other to symbolize cleansing and renewal.

In addition to the water fights, many people visit temples to make merit and honour their ancestors, reflecting the festival's deep cultural and spiritual significance.
