Toward the end of our tour we visited Phuket Thailand and stayed at the Royal Phuket City Hotel

In this video we also headed down to Rawai Beach to have an amazing dinner at Nong Pla Restaurant, and rode back to the hotel in style!!

Just a few miles away from Pattaya City is Jomtien Beach. This area is chilled out, isn't full of go-go bars and the price point is optimal for anyone seeking great bargains.

We spent the day strolling up and down the beach and at night headed to two great locations:. JOMTIEN NIGHT MARKET and STREET FOOD MIAMI JOMTIEN.

The first is a perfect destination to purchase souvenirs, and the latter a foodie's dream come true! Variety+ low-prices + High Quality = winning!

Our hosts Pierre and Chompunut were absolute gems during our visit to Thailand.

After two weeks of nonstop travel we were able to decompress and truly relax at their home... surrounded by mountains and a jungle/rainforest landscape.

Chompunut's name translates to "pure gold" and this could not be more accurate. Their hospitality was unmatched and the cooking was second to none.

I would HIGHLY SUGGEST staying no fewer than two days. A week would be ideal for anyone looking to TRULY get away.

Soi 5 in Jomtien Beach is the home of CHEAP CHARLIE'S Restaurant and Bar. They featured a full menu of (surprise) CHEAP food!

A full breakfast was less than $5 U S. We hopped a "baht bus" back for thirty cents...... which makes the whole morning ridiculously CHEAP. Not to mention our $14 rooms!!

After indulging in all kinds of different exotic Thai foods, we were surprised to discover Five Loaves Burgers and Cafe in Old Town Phuket.

This is a chain of eateries in Phuket, but we found the BEST location of them all! It has a beautiful dining area, ice cold beers, and of course some of the best burgers that we had ever had anywhere in the world.

I can't believe that I'm even admitting this, but we actually ate at this location for THREE days in a row and the staff even got to know us by the third day. On the second and third visits, they waved and said: "see you tomorrow!!"

The hamburger patties are Australian Beef, but there's also a WAYGU option available. The patties are made by hand, so they're super thick and juicy. Double bacon and a fried egg on top just made the burger that much more delicious.

If you're in Phuket, don't pass up the chance to try the Infinity Burger with a cold drink....you will not be disappointed.

Chillva Market in Phuket City, Thailand is different from most of the night markets you will encounter in Thailand. Same offerings as the rest (souvenirs, clothing, knick-knacks, food) but the CROWD is different. The majority of those in attendance are THAI, and very few Westerners around.

What this means is colder beers, cheaper prices, and less B.S. all around. We got some amazing ribs and other snacks and enjoyed them on the second floor of a cool little bar.

Just a few minutes away from our hotel...and galaxies away from our everyday lives!! This market is a MUST for anyone visiting Phuket on the weekend!!

We celebrated the birthdays of Frank and Frank on a dinner cruise going down the Chao Praya River in Bangkok.

The dinner was delicious and plentiful, with an all you can eat buffet filled with amazing Thai entrees and delights.

We went up to the top deck to take in the Bangkok skyline and to sing Happy Birthday to my dad.

If you are looking for a truly unique experience while enjoying delicious food, a dinner cruise leaving from Asiatique Night Market may be just what you are looking for!!

We headed over to the Saphan Taksin BTS station where we were able to take the free ferry to ICONSIAM mega-mall.... which ended up being just what we expected: ANOTHER mega-mall!

Then off to the Bang Rak area for tickets to the dinner cruise!! Let's go!

If you are adding Pattaya to your itinerary, this might be the ultimate hookup --. SOUTH JOMTIEN BEACH with accommodations at the "budget" Z by Zing hotel.

You don't expect much for $12 U.S. but imagine our surprise when the rooms were big, clean, comfortable and had nice HOT SHOWERS!

It's a little hike to the main road but come on!! It's super reasonable. Rates from $1 to $35 depending on what app you are using and the time of year, obviously.

It's near Jomtien Soi 12 and worth the alleyway walk 100%

Before we headed home we found this little ROCK N ROLL bar on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. We got a beer and they went into Metallica's "Seek and Destroy!"

The audio isn't the best on this clip, but you can still tell that they know the song inside and out. Nothing like a little rock and roll to make the end of the trip a little better!!

We are just outside of the Khao Sok National Park at Billion Views Homestay.

(search "dronekrukoon" on YouTube) with me.... which blew my own videos out of the water!!

This footage gives a better representation of this place than my GoPro footage could, and I HAD to share it with you all

The homestay features home cooked breakfast and dinner options -- with organic ingredients grown on site.

The hosts, Pierre and Chompunut are beyond amazing and the serenity of the location is astounding.

The sound of silence is powerful.
