Peaches Adventures Let’s explore the world together through my eyes...

To travel alone, it has its risks, as does anything in life, but it’s also fascinating and a great way to see how people live their daily lives and experience local cultures.

My real adventure started on my birthday on 17 Mar which I actually made this trip to be my birthday gift on this year!

The trip was much more amazing than what I expected to explore Ha Giang, Vietnam's northernmost province. through Ha Giang loop.

Ha Giang Loop is a motorbike loop around Ha Giang, a place where the road winds through jaw-dropping canyons and breathtaking mountain.

Difficult to say where is the most highlights on Ha Giang loop, every path and every views along the path are stunning!

I did 4 days 3 night on this Ha Giang loop and use a service of “QT Motorbikes and Tours” for motorbike rental and a local guide service. They are a professional company who can organize the best trip for you.

You can actually do this alone by only rent a motorbike from them and they will give you a map and all information you need to know, you only use GPS and follow the map - I actually planned to do this alone with no guide but because of the situation of Covid-19 pandemic, many restaurants and hotels were closed. So, better to have a local guide who can speak Vietnamese as locals don’t speak much English.

The first day on 17 Mar, we started from “Ha Giang city” to “Quanba” where there is a beautiful view point. Stop for lunch and coffee at “Yen Minh” and ended at “Dong Van” where we stayed there the first night. We did 170 km in total on the first day.

Warning: The weather is cold uphill and rain sometimes, make sure you have warm jackets with you. I actually wore 4 layers while riding a motorbike because of the cold wind and cold weather uphills!

"Ha Giang Loop - Vietnam" is what you should make it at least once in your life if you like adventures and riding a motorbike through beautiful scenery.

Ha Giang loop is motorbike loop around Ha Giang, Vietnam's northernmost province bordering China. It's starts about 6 hours from Hanoi and is east of Sapa. You can complete the ride in 2-3 days but recommend to do more than 3 days till 7 days!

Motorbikes can be rented in Ha Giang, the best place I recommend is QT Motorbikes, who can also offer excellent route advice and local guide if you need.

This is Hanoi! (while there is an ongoing COVID-19 outbreak!)

It's true when people said "Your everyday life is someone else's adventure". For me, the most highlights in Hanoi is exploring to see locals daily life!

I visited Hanoi recently in March 2020 while there was an ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. Most attractions in Hanoi have been closed and the city seem to be more quiet than what I expected, less tourists but locals still live life as usual under some restrictions.

I will definitely go back there again and next time will take somedays to visit other places closed to Hanoi such as Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu, Trang An etc.

See you again soon, Hanoi, when there is no more virus!

“Hanoi Train Street”

The train street is located between Le Duan and Kham Tien street in Hanoi's Old Quarter.

Everyday a speeding train passes only just inches away from homes and other buildings.

When I was there in March 2020, the track and cafe were very quiet because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Train times through the Old Quarter section:
Weekdays: 7pm, 7.45pm, 8.30pm, 10pm.
Weekends: 9.15am, 11.20am, 3.20pm, 5.30pm, 6pm, 7pm, 7.45pm, 8.30pm, 9pm, 11pm.

🇻🇳 Hanoi - Mar 2019 🇻🇳

ไปขี่มอ’ไซเล่นใน Old Quarter กัน 😄🏍

Hanoi, an ancient capital of Vietnam. One of Hanoi’s most common sights is that of streets packed with scooters, bicycles and cars. There are many sidewalk vendors and people simple out for a stroll.

Hanoi Old Quarter, I would say this area is similar as an ancient town in Bangkok but has more a maze of of streets dating back to the 13th century.

The experience of exploring the historical area is a must-do and truly well worth it.

If you can ride a motorbike in Bangkok’s traffic, you will have no problem to do it in Hanoi!

Solo female adventure travel

Welcome to Travel!

I created this page for sharing my travel experience as a solo female traveler. “Solo travel was once seen as brave and risky for female travelers, but a shift of attitude has meant that it is now an adventurous, exciting experience that allows them to feel free with no one else to worry about or please,” said by HostelWorld, an online hostel-booking platform. To travel alone, it has its risks, as does anything in life, but it’s also fascinating and a great way to see how people live their daily lives and experience traditional cultures, rituals and wisdom in a regular non-touristy community and participate in activities like the locals. Let’s explore the world together through my eyes...
