We were at this year’s Global Sustainable Tourism Council - GSTC Conference, connecting with sustainability leaders from across the global tourism industry.
Our team joined the session “Quantifying Impact: Data-Driven Accountability for DMCs and Tour Operators”, where we shared our work with suppliers on their sustainability journey and the early stages of Khiri Reach, our charitable arm focused on creating positive impact for communities in the destinations where we operate.
We also had the opportunity to attend several inspiring sessions, including “Natural Areas and Visitor Management”, “Development and Management of High-Quality and Sustainable Outdoor Lodging Workshop (APOLA)”, and discussions around “Elephants in Tourism”.
Elephant welfare in Thailand remains one of the biggest challenges in our industry — and one we are committed to getting right. There is still a lot of work to do, but we are taking it seriously.
