Following recent volcanic ash activity from Mount Anak Krakatau, the previously announced closure of Jakarta’s airports, including CGK and HLP, has now been lifted. As of this morning, 8 September 2026, the airports have resumed normal operations.

Other key airports remain open, including Yogyakarta (YIA), Semarang (SRG), Surabaya (SUB), Bali (DPS), and Lombok (LOP). Destinations such as Flores and Sumba remain unaffected and are operating normally.

Our Indonesia team is closely monitoring the situation and flight updates, reviewing affected and upcoming bookings, and supporting travelers with alternative routing where needed.
