𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. It’s essentially a moving food trip that’s just as enriching as the curated stops along the way.

👔 The week began at Jim Thompson House Museum with a private welcome ceremony, introductions over cocktails, and the kind of Thai hospitality that makes you forget you were ever tired in the first place.

🚂 On board is award-winning Chef Patipat Lakthong, who took home Gold at the 2024 Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Thailand competition. Which means every meal becomes refined Thai gastronomy inspired by the landscapes outside your window, paired with thoughtful farm-to-table dining experiences across the country.

🏛️ In Ayutthaya, lunch unfolded beside a lotus-filled lake at a traditional Thai house that felt less like a restaurant and more like someone’s impossibly beautiful secret retreat.

⛰️ In Chiang Mai, dinner happened atop a hidden mountain farm at sunset, accompanied by a live classical mini-orchestra. Honestly, it felt like stepping into a painting… if paintings served cocktails and exceptional local cuisine.

🌊 And finally, the farewell dinner along the Chao Phraya River — where traditional Thai elegance met contemporary luxury in all the right ways.

And because Hong Kong never really stops eating… our Un-Michelin Star Guide continues. 🥢

If Part 1 was about finding gems, Part 2 is about realising: Hong Kong’s most loved meals aren’t hidden at all — they’re the everyday spots locals have been returning to for decades.

No reservations. No awards ceremonies. Just places where “signature dish” just means “we’ve been making this forever, don’t overthink it”

Still hungry? Good!

Because this guide doesn’t come with stars — just appetite, curiosity, and a healthy disregard for queues.

🌿 Laos, one of Southeast Asia’s last frontiers, is often the place people say they want to explore… because it sounds mysterious and untouched — but then pause and ask: “Wait… what do we actually do there?”

Fair question. And also, kind of the point.

Because Laos doesn’t run on “must-sees” and tight schedules. It runs on slow moments, gentle surprises, and experiences that unfold whether you planned them or not.

Think of it less like ticking boxes… and more like letting the day decide.

Check out our album to see what that actually looks like 👇

Every year, our General Managers and management team come together to align on our strategies and directions. This year, we were fortunate to have the rare opportunity to hold our Annual Meeting in Bhutan.

Surrounded by mountain air, prayer flags, and quiet landscapes, the past 2 days created space for deeper conversations, shared vision, and renewed purpose — a reminder that meaningful travel begins with people who remain curious, grounded, and inspired by the world around them.

Here’s to building the future of travel together, thoughtfully and with intention!

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

In Minqin, an oasis exists because people chose to work with the desert, not against:
🌱 Shelter forests holding back shifting sands
🍈 Farms growing food adapted to extremes
🐝 Medicinal plants and livelihoods rooted in resilience

This isn’t preservation for display—it’s survival. And travellers don’t just observe, they take part:
🌳 Planting trees at the desert edge
🚶 Walking through living restoration zones
🌌 Standing beneath skies so wide they reset perspective

And at its core, the experience offers a quiet lesson in resilience.

In an exclusive restaurant experience, sumo wrestlers don’t just demonstrate — they host. Over chanko-nabe 🍲, travellers learn the traditions of the sport… before some brave souls are invited to step into the ring.

Spoiler: there is no “gentle” way to sumo ⚡

It’s part cultural experience, part dinner, part “why did I agree to this?” — and entirely unforgettable. Turns out sumo is even more fun when you’re “slightly” involved.

This is the Maldives with a pulse — where the sea still has a job to do, carrying fishing traditions, quiet history, and the everyday flow of island life that sits just beyond the resorts.

🌅 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 — 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀
A handcrafted dhoni (local boat), a local fishing guide, and the simplest system in the world: hook, bait, patience. No screens, no reels — just sea and sky doing their thing. If you catch dinner, it gets better. If not, the sunset still shows up.

🏛 𝗨𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘂 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 — 𝗔 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲
Small, wooden, unassuming — until you hear the story. The childhood home of Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaanu, who led resistance against Portuguese rule, still stands quietly as a reminder that history here didn’t need a stage.

🌴 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 — 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀
Coconut leaves being woven by hand. Meals cooked in family kitchens. Fishing boats parked where they belong — at rest. This is everyday island life, unfiltered and uncurated.

We don’t just show the Maldives. We show its character.

Welcome to our 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 experience — our latest journey that doesn’t rush, doesn’t over-explain, and definitely doesn’t behave like a checklist.

It starts in Negros and Bacold, where history still lives in plain sight. 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘺 (a.k.a the “Paris of Negros”) lines the streets with ancestral homes, and The Ruins brings full-on romantic drama without even trying. Then Iloilo slows things down in the best way. Elegant streets, heritage churches, and old trading routes quietly remind you this was once a powerhouse city — and still carries itself like one.

🏛️ 𝘍𝘶𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵: 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 — 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.

Then the sea enters the chat.

Islas de Gigantes is where plans disappear. Sandbars pop up, cliffs frame turquoise water, and Cabugao Gamay casually delivers that view like it’s no big deal.

Then Guimaras finishes strong — with mangoes so good they don’t need PR. Pineapple pizza may be controversial… but mango pizza here? Fully approved 🍕🥭.

Welcome to — where development didn’t take over the forest… it asked for permission first.

Tucked in Oudomxay, northern Laos, this is what happens when the forest sets the rules — and everyone actually listens.

No overbuilding. No overpromising. Just experiences shaped by what nature allows:

🌳 Canopy walks that don’t disturb the trees
💧 Waterfall abseiling (yes, the fun kind—within limits)
🚴 Trails that follow real community paths
🥾 Jungle hikes led by those who know it best

It’s on-nature’s-terms travel — where the biggest flex is leaving things exactly as you found them. Because here, the real VIP? The ecosystem. 🌏

Dinner in Penang… but make it a joyride!

Introducing our 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗘𝗮𝘁-𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 — the first (and only) Vespa food tour in Penang. No vans, no fixed routes… just you, a local rider, and a city that comes alive after dark.

Here’s how Penang really does dinner:

🛵 Hop on with a Vespa enthusiast who knows exactly where the good stuff is
🌙 Slip through narrow alleys and backstreets most travellers never see
🍜 Eat like a local — from smoky street stalls to cult-favourite bites
🍻 End the night the Penang way — unwinding at a local watering hole

Because in Penang, food isn’t just eaten. It’s chased, discovered, and argued over.

We don’t just show you where to eat. We show you how the city tastes after dark. More unique food adventures here: DTH.Travel
