Living in Bangkok, Thailand for 20 years, and disciple of an illustrious Yogi, I endeavour to share my personal experience with the Emerald Buddha Bangkok and Grand Palace, as I can only hope that people visiting this auspicious Thai cultural attraction will get the most benefit and enjoyment from their visit. Whilst I was meditating in front of the Emerald Buddha in 2015 I was overwhelmed with an

incredibly deep and powerful loving and peaceful experience, one that was not from me, truly moving me on a fundamental level. To this day I struggle to intellectually conceive how an object can emanate such an incredible blissful power. I can only conclude the Emerald Buddha has been blessed by a highly evolved spiritual being, possibly The Buddha himself. The lineage and origins of the Emerald Buddha, in parts is unclear, what we do know it is greatly revered from the Royal family to Thai nationals as a most precious religious icon, for good reason. A truly once in a lifetime incredible experience. The Emerald Buddha is surrounded by countless majestic and all inspiring examples of Royal architecture through the millennia. A must visit.

THE EMERALD BUDDHA IN THE GRAND PALACE IS THE MAIN ATTRACTION.
The Temple of The Emerald Buddha - (Wat Phra Kaew) Bangkok is purpose-built to house a figurine of the meditating Buddha seated in a yogic posture, made from a solid one piece of green jade, clothed in gold and diamonds and elevated above the heads of the worshippers and tourists, as a sign of respect.

This is Thailand's most important sacred temple housing the utmost precious religious icon.

The Emerald Buddha Temple is beautifully surrounded by courtyards of countless majestic, all inspiring examples of exquisite Royal architecture through the millennia. A must visit and pilgrimage.
