Tour Code ED. Training elephant 1 Day Tour
6:00-6:30 am Pick up at your hotel in Bangkok Leave from hotel in Bangkok for the Floating Market.Scenic drive througn towns small villages paddy fieldsPrawn & salt farms and Thai people going about their daily business.
7:30 am Take a cruise by long tail boat around the floating market, taking in the sites and browsing the merchandise the local vendors have to offer.Spend about 45 minutes at floating market.
7:30 am Leave Bangkok if you choose NOT to go to the floating market.
9:00 am Arrive at elephant camp in Kanchanaburi and take a little time to stretch your legs and get a feel for the place. If available you may get to bottle feed one of the baby elephants (30 Baht per bottle)
9:30 am Registration at Mueng Sing Elephant Village and begin the day with a little elephant education that will teach you about the habits of elephants, their nature and species classification.
12:00 pm Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch at the Elephant Camp.
01:00 pm You will start the afternoon off by getting acquainted with your personal Mahout (elephant trainer) and his friend, the wonderful elephant.
02:00 pm Get to learn and practice some basic but essential Mahout skills that will allow you to establish a personal bond with the elephant.
5:00 pm Lead your mammoth new friend down to the river to cool off by swimming and bathing with the elephants, a soul cleansing experience that will leave you smiling for the rest of your holiday in Thailand. Then say good bye to the elephant and mahout before heading to your hotel for the night.
4:00 pm Leave Kanchanaburi and head back to Bangkok to your hotel.
