We had hope before that this year the tourism industry in Thailand will be better especially, in Thai New Year period which is coming up in April. Now, it is nothing to do with that since the Gov. announced it wont have Thai New Year festival in this year. We understand the quarantine policy will help to stop the virus spreading in our country, but unluckily, it happens in the high season of travelling in Thailand esp. in Phuket which is the best time to visit beautiful beaches and do water activities i.e. scuba diving, snorkeling or swim in the sea. It was a dream which never happened in this year. The locks down means no more tourist, and all tourism industries are in troubles. We can't do anything, just wait and hope that the situation will be back to normal soon. 🙏

Phuket in Thailand is on lockdown starting Monday, with most transportation to the island banned, in the latest effort to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus in the usually popular tourist destination.

Steve Cafe and Cuisine is one of my favorite restaurant in Bangkok. They serve delicious authentic Thai food. (if you could not eat spicy food, you can tell them for less spicy.) Apart from food, this restaurant has a good ambiance, especially, in the night time, you can see the light on Rama VIII bridge, and the river boats along Chao Phraya River. The tables with river view, please call to reserve in advance. The restaurant is not too far from the old town and Kao San Road. No plastic bag campaign in Thailand.
Since 1 Jan.2020, all 7-11 shops, and some shopping malls in Thailand have a campaign no plastic bags. It's a good start of the year that they help reducing plastic bags usage in our country. Previously, when we went to 7-11, they gave us many of plastic bags, this is one big cause to make amount of plastic bags in Thailand increased. Obviously, it affects to our environment and ecosystem.

This year, it is a great change of Thailand that people will be aware of using plastic bags and realize the bad points of it. The bad effect will be increasing gradually, so that one day, it will affect to not only our world environment, but all people. Everyone could help by saying no for all plastic bags. It may be inconvenient for not having the plastic bag when you go shopping, but you are the one who can help our world by preparing your own bag if you go to buy something in groceries or shopping malls.

Happy New Year 2020!
This year I chose the place to count down in Bangkok and see fireworks 🎇 on Taksin bridge. Since it had been a good place to see fireworks, so it's normal that it was crowded and busy. If you would like to be in the front you have to come earlier.

The fireworks was shot for 5 mins. It was nice and beautiful. I would highly recommend if you like to take photos of fireworks with the nice foreground of Chao Phraya River and light of the buildings, but please keep in mind that you have to come earlier to get a good spot to take your shot. 😁🎇🎇🎇

Merry Christmas !
Even if we don't celebrate much Christmas festival in Thailand, but most of the shopping malls in Bangkok have decorated Christmas trees for being a symbol of holiday greeting and shopping. The most popular place for a big beautiful Christmas tree is in Central World Shopping Center. A lot of people come to this place to take nice photos of Christmas festival, especially, in the night time with all light up. If you would like to enjoy the colorful night in Bangkok, Central World Shopping Center is a good choice for you.😃

Light and Sound Event at River Kwai Bridge, Kanchanaburi. Tourist can see this show for free. The show perform every weekend until 2 December. Interested tourist could register for free tickets during 4.30 - 6 pm.before the show begins. If you come to Kanchanaburi on the weekends, don’t miss a chance to see this kind of show.🤩

Walk with Vietnamese guests to see Royal Barge Exhibition in Sanam Luang nearby the Grand Palace, Bangkok. It is a great chance to see and learn about Thai royal barge procession. Visitors can see the royal barges which are beautiful, and delicate. Beside, you will see Thai traditional performance, light and sound showing the previous Royal barge procession through curtain falls. All of this are entrance free. Interested tourists could come and join this event from now until 11 Nov.19 😃
