Northern Thailand - UNESCO World Heritage Sites
3 Days 2 Nights Lampang-Sukhothai-Kampangpetch-Phitsanulok

Day 01: CHIANG MAI / LAMPANG / SRI SATCHANALAI HISTORICAL PARK / SUKHOTHAI
08:00 Hrs. Meet your local tour guide in the hotel’s lobby. Then drive along picturesque scenic routes passing several beautiful northern mountains to Lampang Town (1½ hours drive). On the way visit to Phrathat Lampang Luang Temple; the northern finest temple and best presentation of Lanna style architecture.
Arrive to Lampang town and sightseeing tour by a unique colorful Horse Drawn Carriage around the city center; visit Baan Sao Nuk a 150 years old teak house in northern Thai style and visit Phra Kaew Don Tao Temple, where the famous Emerald Buddha was enshrined for 32 years (from A.D. 1436 to 1468).
Lunch served at the local restaurant.
Depart to Sri Satchanalai Town (2 hours drive) visit to Srisatchanalai Historical Park, its ruins lie on the right bank of the Yom River, one of the best examples of a Thai Muang, it was laid out along fixed cosmological lines – temple complexes lay at its heart, surrounded by city walls, rivers and forest. It is considered by many historians to be the apogee of Thai city planning.
Then transfer to the hotel in Sukhothai Town (1 hour drive) for check in, free at leisure.

Day 02: SUKHOTHAI HISTORICAL PARK / KAMPHAENG PHET HISTORICAL PARK / SUKHOTHAI
08:00 Hrs. Pick up at the hotel’s lobby and depart to Sukhothai Historical Park; the first truly independent Thai Kingdom, visit the ruins of the Royal Palaces, Buddhist temples, the city gates, walls, moats, dams, ditches, ponds canals and the water d**e control system which was the magical and spiritual center of the Kingdom are now preserved and restored by the Fine Arts Department with the cooperation of UNESCO, not only with a view of fostering Thailand’s national identity but of safeguarding in fine example of mankind’s cultural heritage.
Lunch served at the local restaurant.
Depart to Kamphaeng Town (1 hour drive); visit to Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park; it is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Major features in the Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park include archaeological remains of ancient sites such as Mueang Chakangrao to the east of the Ping River, Mueang Nakhon Chum to the west. Structures are usually large and made of laterite. Religious sites on the west bank of the Ping River at Nakhon Chum are built of bricks and of smaller size. City walls and old fortifications mark the boundary of the rectangular town area, measuring 300-700 metre wide and 2,200 metre long
Then transfer back to the hotel, free at leisure

Day 03: SUKHOTHAI / PHITSANULOK / CHIANG MAI
08.00 Hrs. Check out from the hotel and depart to Phitsanulok Town (1 hour drive), visit to Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat, one of Thailand’s most beautiful temple houses and significant Buddha images; Phra Phutta Chinnaraj. The museum in the temple compound housed a collection of Sukhothai art.
Continue to visit the "Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum", is the creation of Sgt. Maj. Thawee, a local and long time resident of the city and province of Phitsanulok, in northern Thailand. It is a large, well designed, and impressive local museum, which showcases the contemporary culture and the recent history of the region. The museum is located a little to the south of the city centre, Then visit Buddha Casting Foundry Located opposite the Folk Museum, this interesting foundry specializes in casting bronze Buddha images and is the only establishment of this kind in the province. Crafts persons specialize in the reproduction of the Phra Buddha Chinnarat Buddha image that you can find
Lunch served at the local restaurant.
Return back to Chiang Mai via the mountainous highway road with your guide & driver. (4-5 hours drive)
Arrive Chiang Mai, and then transfer to the hotel for check in, free at leisure.
