The Siam Paragon food hall was crazy packed. We wanted to eat at Here Hai but were told wait time was 45 minutes. Managed to get pad thai at Thipsammai before heading to Khao-Soi-I. Love the Khao Soi where the noodles and fried noodles were properly done and the correct noodles used. The beef and chicken were tender and succulent and the curry broth was full bodied and robust. We usually visit the outlet at Ari, Bangkok, but this outlet is just as good.

After breakfast, we drove to Chinatown to take a walk along Songwat Road. First up was Choch where they serve ice and hot chocolate, made from locally produced chocolate. After that we crossed over to Matchmaru for matcha latte before walking outside to the main street to Terroir coffee. We then headed to Local Boys Coffee Co about 5 minutes walk away. The iced coffee came in a can. They brew your coffee before pouring the coffee into a can and sealing it up. Simple, innovative way to serve coffee. Songwat Road is now a unique place in Bangkok to take a walk and see the shops, cafes and restaurants along the road.

We arrived in Bangkok at 9am and headed straight for breakfast after clearing immigration. First time we had to register online travel card. When Thai immigration says 3 days before date of entry, they mean 3 days, anything beyond 3 days is not allowed! Breakfast was at our fav noodle place in Sukhumvit Soi 26. It was crowded as usual but we managed to get a table immediately. Was more peppery than usual but still very good.

Had our usual meal of braised duck with noodles before heading to airport for flight home. Love the tender duck meat with blood tofu and complemented perfectly with their homemade chilli. For us, still the best place for braised duck in Bangkok. Shop is at Pattanakarn Soi 47.

Been awhile since we last ate here. The last time we ate here the food was just about average but this time, it was back to its best. So happy they brought back the steamed fish. The gaengsom was excellent as was the massaman g*i and fried prawns. The seafood fried rice and crispy pork belly rounded off a great dinner. Glad they are back to being one of Bangkok’s best restaurants ag*in.

We enjoyed ourselves at 32 Bar at Talad Noi and wanted to go back for more chocolate drinks but decided to try Choch at Song Wat road as we read many reviews about it. It was a simple cafe style chocolate bar and the hot and cold chocolate were very good but more fruity. It lacked acidity which was to our preference. Love the quaint area and will come back to check out the area another day. Really chic area in Bangkok.

Rat Na Yot Phak 40 years. One of the best rat na I have had. Simple, comfort food cooked to perfection. Menu quite extensive and their dishes are one of the best in Bangkok.

Krua Bang Na is one of the best and cheapest restaurants in Bangkok. Located in Samut Prakan district, it occupies a huge area with many tables. Ample parking lots to accommodate huge crowds. Their menu is quite extensive and their dishes are very good.

Heard about this place and decided to try. Helmed by cheftonn, the food here is superb and affordable. At first glance, this place did not look like a restaurant. It looked more like a resort! There was a cafe, a drinking area and a restaurant. The signature crab fried rice was unlike any we have had before. The fried rice felt like it was marinated, steamed and then fried, giving a smooth texture and taste. The kaprao moo sab with century egg was superb. We also ordered minced pork with petai (sator), gaengsom with young coconut and crab and black ink squid. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bangkok for an excellent meal at affordable prices.

Back to Banthadthong in Bangkok for their incredible array of street food. Hereduan is one of the best restaurants here and their famous runny egg rice was just excellent! Their noodles and vermicelli were also very good.

Hope I got the location right! Saw their posts on social media and decided to try. Went to the Ekkamai outlet and was not disappointed. The local beef was very good. Tender and doneness was medium rare. The smoked duck was juicy and succulent. The Philly steak was really good as was the marrow. One of the better beef restaurants in Bangkok.
