My partner and i are both Foreign national and we would like to know if it would be possible to get married in Thailand next year 2018. It will be just the two if us so we would like a simple catholic legally binding ceremony.
Answer:
In general, a foreigner can marry another foreigner in Thailand. However, you have to check whether your nationality has any restriction. As for the simple wedding whether it is Christian, Islamic or Thai ceremony, it is considered not legally binding. You need to undergo another process for the marriage registration which is legally binding under Thai law.
