Nervous about traveling with littles? Questions about what you can bring on the plane for free?
Flying with kiddos can be overwhelming, so here’s a few tips:
1) Generally you can check or gate check strollers and car seats for free, sometimes pack n’ plays too!
2) You can bring breast milk, bottled water for formula, diaper cream, and premade formula through TSA in amounts greater than 3.4 ounces, just be prepared to take them out for a little extra screening. They’ll generally swipe down wipes as well.
3) If possible, nurse little ones during takeoff and landing to help their ears adjust. You can also give pacifiers. Tell older kiddos to yawn.
4) Bring new toys for entertainment (nothing expensive in case it gets lost!) And bring headphones for screen time out of respect for other passengers.
5) If you’re wearing baby, you don’t have to take them out to go through security.
