We are a new cafe in Bangkok creating employment for young people from the Klong Toey Slum. We are passionate about seeing young people have opportunity to relate to people and life outside the slum. Our vision is that the cafe creates a safe environment for young people to work, gain experience and confidence with every cup of coffee we serve. Munjai Cafe is now officially closed! Thank you so much to all our wonderful customers and supporters over the years. We have really loved every minute of it with you and thank you for eating our food, drinking our coffee and brightening our days. So many wonderful memories and we look forward to the next chapter!

In case you haven't heard, our lease is up and Munjai Cafe is closing. Our last trading day will be Saturday August 22nd. We are thankful to all our customers for the great times we have had over the last 3 years. We are excited to see our team step up to the next challenge and they are launching their own catering business in the coming months using all the great skills they have discovered and learnt here at Munjai. It is the end of an era but the beginning of a new beautiful chapter! We are so proud of everyone at Munjai and we thank you all for your support. When one door closes, another one opens...
