จานบินแห่งเมืองโซล หรือ Dongdaemun Design Plaza เรียกกันสั้นๆว่า DDP เป็นสถาปัตยกรรมสุดอลังการ ออกแบบโดย Zaha hadid กินพื้นที่รวมทั้งหมด 85,320 ตารางเมต
ที่นี่คือ Art Exhibition Hall หรือสถานที่ที่ไว้จัดแสดงงานศิลปะ อีเวนท์ต่างๆ
ตัวอาคารมีทั้งหมด 4 ชั้น และชั้นใต้ดินอีก 3 ชั้น จัดว่าเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมขนาดใหญ่มาก และได้รับการออกแบบอย่างปราณีตในการแบ่งรอยต่อวัสดุที่น่าประทับใจมาก เพราะ Form อาคารมีลักษณะโค้งมนทั้งหลัง

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is the most iconic landmark of the Korean Architecture. Located at the center of the Dongdaemun area, the DDP is venue for design-related shows and conferences, exhibitions, and other events and gatherings.

Designed by world renowned architect, Zaha Hadid. DDP is the world’s largest atypical architecture. The DDP is comprised of five halls: Art Hall, Museum, Design Lab, Design Market, and Dongdaemun History and Culture Park.

การได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมสถาปัตยกรรมอันโด่ดดังในหนังสือ เป็นเรื่องที่เราพอจะจินตนาการได้ง่าย คล้ายกับเจอคนดังที่เราชื่นชน แต่เมือได้มีโอกาสได้ลองเข้าอาศัยด้วยแล้ว เป็นความรู้สึกคล้ายกับเรากลายเป็นแขก VIP ของเค้าเลยทีเดียว Such a rare opportunity!

"Stay in the Legend of 70's Metabolism Conceptualized Architecture "

The Nakagin Capsule Tower is the world's first capsule architecture built for actual use. It is a mixed-use residential and office tower designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa.

We have chance to stayed here for one night via Airbnb. Our host is very friendly architect who really love this building. We were determined to stay here because we are also the architects who really love this building too. :))

Not much opportunity that we are able to stay in the architecture we do love. Especially the residential building. The building Completed in 1972, the building is a rare remaining example of Japanese Metabolism, an architectural movement emblematic of Japan's postwar cultural resurgence. We believe that the best way to learn about architecture and understand the concept behind is to visit there and live in there.

OMA หนึ่งในผู้ออกแบบ ที่เราชื่นชอบตลอดกาล ก่อตั้งโดยสถาปนิกชาว Dutch Rem Koolhaas แม้โดยรวมงานของ OMA ที่เราได้มีโอกาสไปเยี่ยมชมในหลายๆที่ทั่วโลก จะมีความ Fully data based, Aggressive programmatic design และ Conceptualized จัดๆ จนทำให้งานดูแข็งๆ กวนๆ ตาม style งาน Dutch แต่ Fondazione Prada ให้ความรู้สึกที่ต่างไปโดยสิ้นเชิง ทั้งในด้านการใช้ Material และ Detail ที่ คม ครึม แต่โดดเด่น หรูหรา แต่เข้าถึงได้ ส่วนตัวจัดว่าเป็นงาน Human Touchable มาก สำหรับ OMA
