Standing tall with a striking centerpiece of an 18-armed Guanyin statue is Wat Plai Laem Temple, one of Ko Samui’s most beautiful temples on the north-east coast. The active temple is a place of prayer for devotees who come to pay homage to Guanyin and Budda.

Those who visit can discover the temple's artistic techniques that are centuries old, learn about Ko Samui’s Chinese heritage, and witness the incredible statue of Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. The temple’s intricate details were created by Jarit Phumdonming, a prominent Thailand artist.
