Follow the trail of stars, and you’ll encounter a new frontier called Poppin Jungle. This exotic land is a haven for music and arts, where the beats never cease.

"Every iconic place has a 'lost' history. 🏰✨

This was my original vision for the Ba Na Hills Chateau—a dream of heavy stone, grand silence, and architecture that felt like it grew out of the mountain itself. Imagine living up here, hidden away from the world.

Today, it lives as a very different kind of icon, but this version will always be part of the journey. Which dream do you prefer? 🌫️💎

Revived Giving the "What Ifs" a Second Chance

We’ve all got that one drawer (or folder) full of killer designs that never actually got built. They were too ambitious, too niche, or just ahead of their time. At Hencefort, we got tired of seeing those sketches collect digital dust.
So, we’re putting them through the Humia Engine to see what happens.

This isn’t about just making a "nice drawing." We’re taking those original South East Asian-inspired concepts and dropping them into a world with actual physics, 4K textures, and cinematic lighting. Seeing the sun hit those Laterite walls and the fog roll across the entrance—it finally feels like a place you can actually visit, rather than just a "someday" idea.

It’s honestly pretty wild to see sketches from years ago suddenly look like a photo from a park that’s been open for a decade. We're just getting started on this revival—stay tuned to see which "lost" project we dig up next.

Stay tuned.

Digging through the archives today and found a ghost from the past. 🏴‍☠️🍴
Before COVID changed everything, we poured our hearts into a project called "Once a Pirate"—a dining theatre experience in Sentosa, Singapore. We designed it, and we even built it. But then the world hit pause, and it never saw its first guest.
I remember at the time, people were actually shocked that we managed to create such an intricate, complicated facade using just SketchUp. It was a feat of pure dedication to the structural "bones" and architectural logic of the project
It was a project with a solid foundation, but it always felt like unfinished business. So, we decided to bring it into the future. We took that original DNA and put it through the HUMIA engine
The transformation is actually unimaginable. By using HUMIA to re-weave the atmosphere, we’ve taken that original project and turned it into a vivid, world-class spectacle that goes far beyond what we first envisioned Seeing it come to life with this level of 3D depth and detail provides that exact "emotional gasp" we always aim for
It’s incredible to see how the engine breathes new life into a design, making it even more spectacular than the original dream. We can't even imagine what we can do from here.
What do you think of this evolution? Should we dig up more "lost" projects? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇

Anyone else remember the struggle of trying to get an exposed ceiling to look "right" in a presentation? 👷‍♂️
I definitely don't miss the days of wrestling with perspective just to get the pipes to sit correctly, or hunting for generic 3D models just to fill a SketchUp file with a visual "vibe." It was a massive technical hassle just to show a client an idea.
That’s why we’ve integrated HUMIA into our workflow. Now, we can take a simple sketch and let the engine handle the visual heavy lifting for the MEP details. It delivers a sophisticated, high-end atmosphere instantly, so we can focus on the actual design story and the "WOW" factor of the space
It’s about getting to that vivid 3D reality without the old-school presentation headaches.
How much time do you still spend on those "presentation" details just to get a visual across? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇
