Digging through the archives today and found a ghost from the past. 🏴☠️🍴
Before COVID changed everything, we poured our hearts into a project called "Once a Pirate"—a dining theatre experience in Sentosa, Singapore. We designed it, and we even built it. But then the world hit pause, and it never saw its first guest.
I remember at the time, people were actually shocked that we managed to create such an intricate, complicated facade using just SketchUp. It was a feat of pure dedication to the structural "bones" and architectural logic of the project
It was a project with a solid foundation, but it always felt like unfinished business. So, we decided to bring it into the future. We took that original DNA and put it through the HUMIA engine
The transformation is actually unimaginable. By using HUMIA to re-weave the atmosphere, we’ve taken that original project and turned it into a vivid, world-class spectacle that goes far beyond what we first envisioned Seeing it come to life with this level of 3D depth and detail provides that exact "emotional gasp" we always aim for
It’s incredible to see how the engine breathes new life into a design, making it even more spectacular than the original dream. We can't even imagine what we can do from here.
What do you think of this evolution? Should we dig up more "lost" projects? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇
Ignition! 🚀✨
