Silom Soi 4 might be the smallest big street in Bangkok that punches harder than Muay Thai Fighter🥊
Blink walking down Silom Road during the day and you’ll miss it. It’s literally a skinny alleyway tucked between two bigger Sois (alleys), barely wide enough for a scooter to squeeze through 🛵. But show up after 9pm and the whole thing “Glows Up”✨
Both sides of the lane are packed wall to wall with open-air bars 🍺. Plastic stools, tiny tables, neon lights, music spilling out from every direction and somehow blending into one big gay soundtrack. 🎵
Hugs is my favorite Bear Bar, it’s upstairs but the vibe and karaoke are unmatched. If you’re looking for a show, head over the Stranger Bar, and I promise you you won’t be a stranger by the end of the night.
My tip: get there around 10, order a Chang or whatever SangSom rum special they’re pushing that night 🍹, and don’t bother making plans for after…
You’ll stay longer than you think. 😂
Getting there is easy — BTS Sala Daeng or MRT Silom 🚇, then walk down Silom Road past Soi 2.
You’ll spot the crowd and noise before you spot the signs. 👀
And if you want to stay across the street from all the action!! 🏨🛏️
