Every Step Creates Change 💚

Here’s a little recap from 24 July, when our team came together to create and spread the Intrepid Effect through a low-carbon journey around Rattanakosin. We explored Bangkok’s Old Town by foot, EV boat, and EV tuk tuk.

Along the way, we visited our hotel partners Theatre Residence, ASAI Chinatown, and Royal Princess Larn Luang, before ending the journey with lunch at Pat Cafe Boraan, a local café supporting cage-free egg practices.

We also raised funds through The Intrepid Foundation to support World Animal Protection and Eco Thailand, helping protect wildlife, support communities, and care for the environment.

A big thank you to our hotel partners for welcoming us, everyone who supported the fundraising, and our team for making the day happen 💚

Exploring Rattanakosin reminded us that responsible travel can start right at home, through the choices we make and the connections we build.

🌿 April is Earth Month 🌏

When we travel in Thailand, it’s easy to fall in love with the beaches, jungles, mountains, and of course, the animals. But these places need protecting, and Earth Month is a good reminder of that.

This month, we want to shine a light on The Intrepid Foundation’s partners in Thailand, who are creating real impact on the ground:

🌱 Eco Thailand Foundation supporting local communities through environmental education, conservation projects, and sustainable action

🐘 World Animal Protection Thailand protecting animals from cruelty and pushing for a tourism industry where wildlife can live safely and naturally

We’re grateful to support their work through The Intrepid Foundation, and grateful to every traveller who helps make responsible tourism possible. 💚

📍🇦🇺 Following our Global Summit 2026 celebrations in Bangkok, members of our team also had the opportunity to join the Global Summit in Melbourne, including Mike Stewart (Regional General Manager, Southeast Asia), Song Nongchanun (General Manager People, Asia), and tour leaders Na and Ning ❤

Throughout the week, they connected with colleagues from across Intrepid’s global community, sharing ideas, learning from one another, and getting a real feel for what makes Intrepid special across different destinations. It was an inspiring experience filled with fresh perspectives, meaningful connections, and plenty of shared moments along the way 💫

📍🇹🇭 Global Summit 2026

Last Friday, our Thailand team had an amazing time joining the Global Summit 2026 via live stream from Melbourne.

From a tasty lunch to fun games, it was a day full of smiles, great memories, and real connection. We also held two fundraising activities, a Charity Auction and a Star-Picking Game, to raise money for Eco Thailand through The Intrepid Foundation. It was truly impactful to come together as one team in support of meaningful work that strengthens local communities and sustainability 💚

Big thanks to the Global Summit Team in Melbourne for making this all happen and making us feel connected, even from afar. Can’t wait to join you all again next year! 🙏
