April’s harvest highlights. 🌱 This was a slower growing month as rising temperatures impacted harvests across many schools. Even so, students and teachers continued adapting through the changing weather as they await the rainy season!

In Kui Buri, elephant sightings happen on their own time. The more we return, the more we begin to notice how they move, how they interact, and how small we are in the presence of something so wild.

There’s something about watching elephants that naturally slows you down: a quiet and grounding kind of stillness. 🐘

🌿 Trails of Northern Thailand

The mountains around Doi Inthanon hold incredible biodiversity and history. With Worldwise Edventures, students explore these trails alongside local Karen and Hmong guides, learning how forests, rivers, and communities are all deeply connected.

Time in these mountains also gives students something simple but powerful... space to slow down. Moving through nature can be grounding, helping regulate the nervous system in ways classrooms sometimes can’t.

In February, students harvested 1,715 kg (3,773 lbs) of produce and contributed hundreds of work hours!

Every kilogram represents teamwork, nourishment, and responsibility.

Your impact is real. And it’s growing. 🌱💚

The project is expanding and the results speak for themselves. Across 16 local schools, students have grown food for school lunches and sold remaining produce for income that was reinvested directly into their education.

This project started in Chiang Mai, but our newest coastal region alone has already grown a total 280.8 kg of mushrooms & generated 16,405 baht in just two months!
