Tham Seua Khao Kaeo Vipassana Centre, Tambon Krabi Noi, Muang District, Krabi is an ecclesiastical for meditation founded by the Venerable Chamnian Silsetto, a well-known monk on Vipassana practice in B.E.2518 (A.D. 1975). Its name "Tham Seua" or "Tiger cave" derives from once there was a big leopard living in one of the caves in Khao Kaeo. Within the cave is found a natural rock in a shape of a tiger's palm. Its general environs is a forest park with many large trees aged hundred of years old growing in the Kiriwong Valley. There are many caves occupying the aera too, such as, Tham Khon than, Tham Lod, Tham Chang Kaeo, and Tham Luk Thanu, Artifacts of prehistoric as well as historic periods have been found here, too.
