Rooster bowls 🐓🥣 something you’ve probably eaten out of if you’ve traveled in Thailand. Famous for holding hot noodle soup, the well known rooster bowl comes from Lampang province in the north, just two hours from Chiang Mai. Head over to our blog to learn more about this famous pottery!

Lampang is a great day trip from Chiang Mai and one we recommend if you have time. We enjoy taking the local train, but can also organize this as a tour by van. Known for the famous chicken bowls used for noodle soup, horse carriage rides, beautiful temples, and slower pace life, Lampang is a lovely city with welcoming locals.
