Chiang Mai is known for its excellent coffee scene and one of our long time favorites is Akha Ama Coffee. While there are cafes and coffee stands on every street in Chiang Mai, Akha Ama is special. They have a few locations in the city, however, this is Living Factory, located north of the city in Mae Rim. You’ll be greeted by beautiful greenery, ducks, smiling baristas, the incredible architecture, and the smell of coffee roasting. We used to live in Mae Rim and this was our go to spot. Making the trip up here now is always a treat! Barista Gee makes a perfect latte, filled with ❤️ Make sure to say hello if you make a trip up here!

STORY - Meet Por who is one of our Motorbike Food Tour drivers. Por joined Just Love Experience last year and has been a wonderful addition to the team. He comes from Lampang and has been studying at Rajabhat University. He has plans to continue his studies to become a licensed tour guide in the near future. 🎉 Por loves spicy food, especially pad krapao! During our food tours, Por loves to stop at the local market because he likes to cook at home and enjoys talking about food with our guests while walking around. During his free time, Por likes to read novels and classic short stories. He also likes to play badminton at the 700 Year sports center. He is into history as well! Make sure to ask him about the history of Chiang Mai if he is on a tour with you. When asked where he would like to travel someday, Por said he would like to visit the Czech Republic. He explained that he plays video games and reads books about the Holy Roman Empire and thinks the history is interesting and the architecture is very gorgeous.
