It was another truly enjoyable and memorable day, filled with a variety of activities that offered both excitement and meaningful cultural learning.
The journey began with a zipline adventure across the largest lake in Chiang Mai, featuring 31 stations. It was thrilling, exhilarating, and wonderfully challenging throughout. Afterwards, we visited a hill tribe village, where the highlight was meeting the long-neck Karen community. Today, many of them have received Thai citizenship, which has significantly improved their quality of life, providing easier access to essential services such as education and healthcare without the financial burdens they once faced.
Following that, we visited a place often referred to as “Land of Angels,” before continuing on to an elephant conservation camp. There, we fed baby elephants and spent time with them in their natural forest habitat. The peaceful riverside setting also invited visitors to enjoy bamboo rafting along the natural Mae Taeng River, adding yet another memorable experience to the day.
Overall, it was a wonderfully fulfilling one-day trip, offering a rich blend of emotions—fun, excitement, a touch of thrill, admiration, and a deeper appreciation of nature.
