We begin in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, easing in with orientation walks, refined local dining, and a deep dive into the Mekong Delta—gliding by sampan through palm-lined canals, visiting family homes, and sharing meals rooted in regional tradition. From there, we slow the pace in Hoi An, the storied trading port, where UNESCO-listed streets, custom tailoring, coastal downtime, and a private home cooking experience bring Vietnam’s culinary heritage to life.
Heading north, we trace Vietnam’s quieter rhythms in Ninh Binh, drifting through limestone caves and rice fields, before cruising among the dramatic karsts of Halong Bay aboard a traditional junk. In Hanoi, we immerse ourselves in Old Quarter neighborhoods—by cyclo, on foot, and bite by bite—before boarding an overnight sleeper train into the highlands.
The journey culminates in Sapa, where mountain air, terraced valleys, and hill-tribe villages offer a powerful contrast to the cities below. Gentle treks, local meals, and meaningful cultural exchange round out an experience designed to feel intimate, intentional, and deeply connected to place.
