Hi, I'm Ketsuda, but most people simply call me by my nickname, King. I am a born and raised Chiang Mai(-ian) married to an American ex-pat. I started the business now known as CMStay in 2010 to fill an obvious gap in the local hospitality market. Nobody was catering to the real travellers of the day. Your choices were the big hotel with big hotel prices or cheap hostels with no privacy and dicey internet. Both were only prepared to take your payment, hand you the keys and that was it. At CMStay, our goal is to give you a running head start from the moment you arrive in Chiang Mai. First and foremost, we are English speakers, making your transition to South-East Asia as easy as possible. We have spent the last decade doing our best to convey our local knowledge to new arrivals. From the best local eateries, where to get freshest fruits/veggies, places that cater to specific diets, different schools for Massage/Yoga, how to get around our city like a local, to setting up tours/drivers at non-tourist prices. The list goes on....
All units include STABLE, HIGH-SPEED WiFi, Cable TV, AirCon, working desk, Western style toilet, among other basics all travelers would appreciate. CMStay Ouikum is inside the Old City walls and moat. Close to the Sunday market and the tourist center, but far enough to be outside of the noise. We like to believe that we are great hosts, we are multi-lingual and have a strong knowledge base of Chiang Mai which can help with the nuances of traveling in a new country. We're always looking forward to meeting new people and maybe even being able to help a newbie find their way around. If you have any questions/needs we are always happy to help!
