Once upon a time, people learned to turn plants into paper. Now, you can too, with traditional Saa paper making!
Here’s the fun journey:
* Gather & Cook: We start with Saa plant bark, boil it until soft.
* Pound it Out: Then, we traditionally pound the fibers into a mushy pulp.
* Watery Mix: This pulp mixes with water in a big vat.
* Scoop Your Sheet: Use a screen to scoop out a wet sheet of paper. This is where you jump in! If you don’t try, you’ll never know how perfectly you can make it! Embrace those first, imperfect, fun attempts.
* Decorate! Add flowers, leaves, or glitter while it’s still wet.
* Sun Dry: Let your unique creation dry in the sun.
You’ll get hands-on with ancient methods, laugh, learn, and create your very own beautiful paper. Remember, if you don’t try, you’ll never know the amazing artisan within you!
