An incredible adventure in Kanchanaburi!

We had such a happy day today showing our lovely guests around our home province. The weather was bright and sunny, which was perfect to explore. Our guests went with Ao, our number one guide who knows all the best stories, and Benz, our driver who always drives safely and smoothly.

We visited a mix of history and nature today. It was amazing to see the giant golden Buddha at Wat Tham Suea shining against the blue sky. We also walked through the ancient stone ruins at Muang Singh Historical Park. It feels like going back in time there. Later, we cooled down under the massive shade of the Giant Monkey Pod Tree. It is so big that it covers a huge area! We also stopped at the Skywalk and Meena Cafe for some great views

I had no idea how perfect this morning was going to be when we pushed off from the bank - the water was like glass, the sun was warm, and we basically had the whole river to ourselves. There's something special about paddling past these old riverside homes and seeing how peaceful everything feels when you're actually out on the water instead of just driving past it. If you've been thinking about finally trying this, seriously, today proved me wrong about it being intimidating at all - who's free next weekend?
