Look at these incredible Dusky Leaf Monkeys (also known as Spectacled Langurs) spotted in the lush rainforest canopy of Khao Sok National Park! 🇹🇭
Notice the adorable bright orange baby clinging on — newborn Dusky Leaf Monkeys are born with this striking golden-orange colouring, which fades to grey as they mature. Scientists believe the vivid colour encourages other members of the troop to help care for the young.
Khao Sok is one of the oldest rainforests in the world, estimated to be around 160 million years old — even older than the Amazon! It's home to an incredible variety of wildlife including elephants, gibbons, and hornbills.
