Every area on Samui has its own local wet market where you can buy fruit, veg, herbs, spices, meat, eggs & fish- these are my own photos from Chaweng wet market- worth a visit! Can also recommend Bangrak & Lamai markets.

14 years ago this area was a huge empty space. We created this seated outdoor sala area, the teak wood frame has sheltered us well through all the monsoons and dry summer heat- but it was time to update it with a new Sala and this time we added a ceiling fan so it’ll offer some breeze in this April heat!
