🌿 A Heartfelt Story: "Ruedoo-Karn Wimaan Khun" – Nan Tea Crafted by the Community
The fascinating story of discovering this Nan tea brand began by chance. We encountered the creators of the brand “Ruedoo-Karn Wimaan Khun” (which translates loosely to "Season, Paradise, Virtue/You") as they were meticulously sampling their teas. They offer a selection of five seasonal teas, each possessing a unique flavor and aroma: Spring, Summer, Rainy, Autumn, and Winter.
Following our conversation, we learned that these are young people who hail from "Ban Sri Na Pan-Ta Wan," one of the oldest and most renowned tea-growing villages in Nan Province. They are dedicated to elevating and building the reputation of Nan Tea to achieve widespread recognition.
What is particularly remarkable is the deep cultural roots of this community. Most of the inhabitants trace their ancestry back to migrants from Sipsongpanna (Xishuangbanna) in China. This heritage has cemented "Ban Sri Na Pan-Ta Wan" as a genuine source of excellent quality tea and a celebrated hub in Nan.
The tea products by Natthawut are currently available for sale at Nan Airport and are soon to be stocked in several other souvenir shops throughout Nan Province. If you are interested in supporting these young entrepreneurs from Nan, please contact them at 087-173-5603.
