Wat Boromracha Kanchanapisek Anusorn (commonly known as Wat Leng Nei Yi 2), located in Sano Loi Subdistrict, Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi.

📜 A Brief History

This temple belongs to the Mahayana Buddhist tradition, and was built in celebration of His Majesty King Rama IX’s 50th Year Jubilee on the throne.
Construction began in 1996 and took 12 years to complete, finishing in 2008.
The total cost of over 2 billion baht was entirely funded by the faith and donations of Thai and Chinese Buddhists alike. 🌟

🚤✨ “From River to Rail… One Day, Two Vibes – ICONSIAM, Rattanakosin Island & Back to Nonthaburi” 🚆🌇

This morning, I began my journey from Aran Hostel & Cafe Nonthaburi
Taking the Chao Phraya Electric Boat from Phra Nang Klao Pier 🚢
I cruised down the river, passing 7 iconic bridges, all the way to Wang Lang Pier → Tha Chang Pier
(🎥 I made a short video of the boat trip — check it out! The river views were truly beautiful.)

🌿 After arriving, I explored Wat Phra Kaew, the City Pillar Shrine, the Grand Palace, and other landmarks around Rattanakosin Island
It was a peaceful walk filled with history, culture, and inspiration.

🏙️ For the way back, I switched the vibe completely:
From river to rail 🚇 — using BTS and MRT for a different experience.

I started at ICONSIAM, hopped on the Gold Line BTS → transferred to the Silom Line, and stopped at Siam Station

📍 At Siam Paragon, I took a break, enjoyed dessert, window-shopped, and just let the city energy flow.
If you love beautiful spaces, AC, and stylish photo spots — this place delivers!

🚇 From Siam, I continued on the BTS Sukhumvit Line to Mo Chit
Then transferred to the MRT Blue Line → Tao P**n, and finally onto the Purple Line heading to Nonthaburi Civic Center Station

And although I didn’t get off at these stops, I’d absolutely recommend you set aside time to explore these hidden gems:

🔹 BACC – Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (near National Stadium BTS)
🔹 Wat Pathum Wanaram – A serene temple nestled between shopping malls

🚤✨ “จากเรือร่มเจ้าพระยาสู่รางรถไฟฟ้าทัวร์กรุงเทพฯ... หนึ่งวัน สองฟีล กับทริป ICONSIAM – เกาะรัตนโกสินทร์ – นนทบุรี” 🚆🌇

เช้านี้… ผมเริ่มต้นจาก Aran Hostel & Cafe นนทบุรี
เดินทางแบบง่าย ๆ ด้วย เรือไฟฟ้าจากท่าเรือพระนั่งเกล้า
ล่องแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา ชมสะพานสวย 7 แห่ง จนมาถึง ท่าวังหลัง – ท่าช้าง
(🎥 คลิปสั้น ๆ ขาไป ลองไปชมกันได้นะครับ บรรยากาศบนเรือคือดีมากจริง ๆ)

🌿 จากนั้นก็เดินเที่ยว วัดพระแก้ว, ศาลหลักเมือง, พระบรมมหาราชวัง และพื้นที่รอบเกาะรัตนโกสินทร์
ได้ความรู้ ได้ศิลปะ ได้ใจสงบ…

🏙️ ขากลับ ผมเปลี่ยนบรรยากาศ
จาก “เรือ” → “ราง” เดินทางด้วย รถไฟฟ้า BTS/MRT
เริ่มจาก ICONSIAM → นั่ง BTS Gold Line → ต่อ Silom Line → ลงที่ สยาม

📍 ที่ สยามพารากอน ผมได้พักเท้าในห้างหรู เดินดูของ ชิมของหวาน
ใครชอบถ่ายรูป-เดินชิลล์ คือไม่ผิดหวังครับ

🚇 จากสยาม นั่ง BTS ต่อไปที่หมอชิต แล้วต่อ MRT กลับ ศูนย์ราชการนนทบุรี
ระหว่างทางนั้น…
แม้จะยังไม่ได้ลงไป แต่ผมขอแนะนำให้คุณ “เผื่อเวลา” แล้วลองแวะสถานที่เหล่านี้ดูครับ:
