Thailand has introduced visa relief measures after 166 flights were cancelled due to disruptions linked to the Israel–Iran conflict. Immigration authorities will waive overstay fines for travellers unable to leave the country because of the cancellations.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, between Feb 28 and March 3, 105 outbound and 61 inbound flights were cancelled across five major airports: Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Phuket International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, and Krabi International Airport.
