🛑 FACEBOOK ACCOUNT BLOCKED?! My Terrifying Experience & a Shocking Revelation from Thailand! 🛑
Yesterday, my Facebook account was suddenly and inexplicably blocked. No warning, no reason given. Just like that, a major part of my personal and professional online life was gone. The sheer frustration of dealing with automated responses and trying to get through to a real person was immense. Luckily, as a professional user, I have access to the Meta Business Helpdesk, and after a significant effort, they were able to restore my account.
But here's where it gets really interesting (and a bit concerning): The exact same thing happened yesterday to TWO other foreigners I know who also live here in Thailand! All on the same day, all for no apparent reason on our part.

The article discusses new digital identification verification laws being implemented in Thailand, aiming to enhance online security. While the intention is good, it raises questions about how these new regulations might be impacting social media platforms and, consequently, user access. It seems highly probable that Meta, in its efforts to comply, might be implementing stricter, perhaps even overzealous, flagging or verification systems.
This entire experience has been a massive wake-up call about the fragility of our online presence and the increasing complexities of navigating digital spaces with evolving government regulations.
